Dr. Eric Scott Seiger, DO

I went to the Livonia Skin & Vein center today to buy the same skin care products I've been buying for the past 35 years. I was told they could not sell products to me anymore. Reasons were because I returned TWO products. Caroline claimed it was corporate . After 35 years and thousands of dollars spent on cosmetic procedures and continuous skin care products, I no longer matter.They went corporate . I'd think twice before purchasing products from here ,this place isn't what it use to be . Very impersonal and rude.

Dr. Seiger of the Skin & Vein Center is the quintessential skin virtuoso making wishes come true. I kid you not. His magnum opus in everything dermatological exhibits his wide and laborious expertise. I, literally walked into that Garden City office downtrodden and mostly despondent but when Dr. Seiger entered the room, it was as if the birds began to chirp, the sun came out and the world came alive, full of hope and dreams. His approach is friendly and empathetic as he makes one feel as if they are the only one existing in his Universe as he listens intently on what your greatest wish in the world is. This is just the beginning of what you will experience when you opt to select Dr. Seiger to perform any procedure you decide. His team of Ashley and Leah are his side kick miracle workers assisting him in helping to make wishes come true of every single human being that enters thru the Garden City office doors. The Doc performed a “total lift” on me which consisted of the “Y lift”, the… “neck lift” and the “hour lift” and without getting into too much detail describing these procedures, I will tell you this..there is zero pain involved, there is live entertainment as the Doc works his magic and when you exit the doors and flutter away off on your grand adventurous journey in life, you feel as if you are walking on clouds, have a new lease on life, feel as if you have been transformed into your “best self” and ready to conquer the world and make your mark. This Dr./artist is truly gifted and knows his craft well. I typically do not write reviews for anyone but I felt compelled to share my experience and encourage anyone who yearns for a brand new start in life or has always wished for a transformation to please just go meet Dr. Seiger and tell him your hopes and dreams and he will do the same for you as he did for me.... he will give you a new spring in your step in which you will want to wake up every single day ready to make a difference. What else can I say?

Dr Seiger did an awesome job on my hour lift. The first one lasted 9 years and I did it again. Couldn't be happier! Dr Seiger truly cares about his patients and wants you to be happy:)

The best choice of a doctor I have ever made! Before my one hour lift, I had expectations of coming out with a more refreshed look. I am 65 and in my mind I am a lot younger but on the outside, I looked tired and worn out. When I arrived at the office the staff was so friendly and professional. I had maybe a 2 minute wait before I was escorted to an examination room. When Dr. Seiger came in he grabbed a chair and sat face to face with me to talk about my goals and hopeful results. Being a good listener and making eye contact was always the first rule in my own business. Your client wants to know you are hearing and envisioning what they want. I proceeded to the exam table and Dr. Seiger began his artwork. I call it that, because it is his art... I was at ease and no discomfort because he exuded confidence. There was zero pain level. We chatted through the whole experience. It went quickly and when they handed me the mirror I was shocked way beyond my expectations! I immediately… looked 15 years younger and, I am not exaggerating. It was totally unexpected from what I visualized...in a good way. I had 3 major surgeries in the last 3 years and those surgeries aged me rapidly and I had got to the point that I didn't even want to go out of the house. My first day out, after the lift, with very little make up on I went for my PT appt. and everyone there knows me. They all said you look great! I love your haircut! Can you give us your hair stylist name and location? I did not have a haircut but, I knew it was because of my lift. Then 2 weeks later I went to the mall with my daughter and 3 men that were shopping in a store we were in and asked if we were sisters. I said yes, then confessed that she was my daughter. No joke! They were shocked! I highly recommend Dr. Seiger to anyone who wants that new lease on life and anyone who wants to look like what you feel on the inside. He is a kind, caring, personable and a true artist.

This has been the worst experience at a doctor’s office in my 50+ years. Referred to Dr. Sieger for hyperhidrosis of the scalp, met with the PA about Botox and was told they would consult with Dr. Seiger about how much it would cost, and I asked them to check with my insurance company about coverage. Didn't hear back from them so I called 10 days later and was told that the doctor said it would be $800. I asked if they checked with my ins. co. and was told no, I told them that that is what I had been waiting for. About a week later I got a call from the office stating that it was covered every few weeks for two years so I scheduled the appointment with Dr. Seiger. Went to the appointment for the Botox injections and it ended up being the PA doing them. The PA obviously didn't look at my file as she was going to give me the injections in my armpits and she was caught off guard when I said it was my scalp. By her reaction and comments, I'm pretty sure I was her guinea pig for her first… time doing this procedure for hyperhidrosis of the scalp. There was no change a week after the injections, so I made another appointment with Dr. Seiger. This time I only saw one of the office staff who told me that it takes three weeks to take effect and if there wasn't any change at three weeks then I would need to call my insurance company. The insurance company asked why I was calling because the "doctors office needs to make a request for more botox or more often or both." I told the office what the insurance co. said and was told that they would take care of it. I followed up a week later and found that Dr. Seiger was never asked about it. They called back and said Dr. Seiger wants to see me. I asked why, I was supposed to see him three times by now and now he wants me to take more time off work to come in and tell him that it had very little effect? She told me that he would want to know about all other meds and treatment that I have tried. Obviously, he hadn't looked at my chart and was only interested in billing me for another office call. I told her I was pretty sure I wouldn't be sweating when I came in and maybe a phone conversation would cover his other questions. I requested to skip the appointment and just have Dr. Seiger call. I received a call back within 5 minutes and was told that Dr. Seiger said that the only thing he could do at this point was to refer me to U of M in Ann Arbor. So let’s get this straight, Dr. Seiger skipped THREE appointments with me and when I elect to skip one with him he wants to drop me. It is of course all about the MONEY!!! I recommend finding another dermatologist, I am!

Not satisfied with results. Too conservative, scarting due to nurse messing up closure, which I was told would be handled by the DR. Post OP check done by a different doctor. End result was infections and scars. Not worth the expense. Most of the staff was friendly. Seemed the main goal was to push thru as many patients as possible. Procedure done while patients are awake. Realistic expectations not see. Very little improvement and the offer to make it better was a huge suggestion to purchase a big filler package.

I had been on the search for a physician for the last 4 years to find someone I could trust with my face and neck. I found it in Dr. Eric Seiger! It just so happens, Dr. Seiger and my husband (a physician himself) know each other, but had not seen each other in over 23 years. Serendipitously they ran into one another in April. My husband has always held Dr. Seiger in high esteem and as a result, my husband did not waver when he told me “he is the one to go to.” Five weeks later, on June 1, 2017, I had the Hour Lift. I am exceedingly happy with the results! I opted not to have fillers because I want a more natural look. The staff was gracious, warm and kind. The experience was thoughtful, attentive and caring. Dr. Seiger connects to his patients from his heart. Skilled surgeon with a desire to connect with people…who could ask for more?! Michele C, BA, RN
