Dr. Erica M. Sweet, DO

This was one of the worst medical experiences I have ever experienced. She was demeaning and uncaring. I went home and told my husband about my experience. She actually walked out on me after I got annoyed she asked me the same question five times. She claimed I didn’t answer the question. She asked me if I wanted to proceed. I answered “Yes, I want to get it over with.” Five times and she claimed it was a non answer. No bedside manner especially since she was doing something painful. I described her to my husband as a “Stepford wife” She also kept telling me that the test might not yield any information about my pain. Guess what? It did. Never again.

After reading the negative reviews and my first appointment being cancelled an hour before I was to arrived, I was prepared for a bad experience. But instead I found Dr. Sweet to be professional and caring. EMG is an uncomfortable (ok, painful) test with electric shocks and needles. Dr. Sweet was sympathetic, prepared me adequately and when there was a technical problem, even stuck herself with the needle to sort it out rather than poke me again. I couldn't find anything but positive comments to say about her and her staff. Maybe it's a Jekyll and Hyde thing, but my visit for this test caught her on a good day.

My partner has been under Dr. Sweet’s care for sometime now, so I have enough experience with her to write an informed review. My partner presented with multiple problems, one of which was very difficult to diagnose and treat. She listened carefully, compassionately, and applied her knowledge and skills to his case. She was spot on with his treatment and continues to monitor him and tweak medications as needed. For both he and myself, we give her high recommendation and gratitude for her expertise.

Her whole demeanor from the start of my visit was horrible! She displayed unprofessionalism and lacked tack, kindness, or any type of caring what so ever. In fact, Dr.S.’s tone of voice was so argumentative, as if she was going out of HER way to help you. What an awful and the most horrific drs. experience I ever encountered! Shame on her!

I've endured RLS for fifty years and had never had treatment or advice that even approaches the level provided by Dr. Sweet. She was extremely thorough and diligent in determining the best course of action for me. I am confident my neurological needs are in the best hands possible.

She shouldn't argue with clients ! I'm thinking about seeing someone else even if I have to travel n hour away....

I found Dr. Sweet and her staff to be the best Neurology team I have ever been treated by. Dr Sweet did not make me feel rushed during my visit and she actually listened to what I had to say. She is truly concerned with my wellbeing while her staff is extremely polite, personable yet professional.

Went to Dr sweet a year with tbi she only examined me the first time the other 2 none she argued with the workmans comp case manager in front of me unprofessional wouldn't go back for even a headache

Not a good doctor period

It never feels good to give a poor rating. But this doctor should not be in practice. As a patient, I would tell a friend try to find someone else.
