Dr. Erik Maurice Clinton, MD

He may be friendly, but he truly doesn't care and / or incompetent. I went there with my concerns and a result from a recent MRI I had. He said it was nothing and normal. A few weeks later, I ended up at the ER at a nearby hospital for an unrelated health scare. As I was speaking to the ER doctor about my health, I had mentioned by gyno concern. When he asked what Erik Clinton did, he was surprised he didn't even take any cultures, so while I was there, they took cultures. Lo and behold, there were indeed issues. Thank goodness I had that health scare. Otherwise I would still be in pain!

He acts kind, but he's careless. I went to him with my concern and he brushed it off and said it was normal, and that was the end of the appointment. A few weeks later, during an emergency room visit at another nearby hospital due to an unrelated issue, I mentioned to the doctor about my gynecological concerns. The ER doctor at that hospital asked whether Erik Clinton had done an ultrasound or at least taken culture. When I said 'no', the doctor was disturbed. He was nice enough to look into that issue while I was at that hospital and lo and behold, it was not "normal" and there were indeed issues that needed to be addressed. Erik Clinton should not be a doctor.

I went in for my annual paps and thought I mistakenly was at the DMV. He looked at me disinterest and vague curiosity when i mentioned pain, tiredness and asking for advice on medicine. Maybe there were more interesting cases in the waiting room than a premenopausal housewife.

Dr Clinton ruined my life! It has been 3 and a half years since this happened! Two weeks after surgery, my vagina was in pain. He told me that I could be like this for the rest of my life! I was dumbfounded! He told me that it was a medical issue now. He took care of my GYN issues! Really???? After 3 1/2 years, i’m Still in pain! He could care less! My only advice to people is to research him before you let him touch you! He doesn’t care that he ruined my life & that i’m so ready to just die because I cannot live in this pain any longer. He is horrible!!!

Dr. Clinton was my OB for my somewhat complicated twin pregnancy this winter. Near the end of my pregnancy it became clear that my 2nd twin was going to be breech at delivery. While many OBs would have considered this an indication for c-section, Dr. Clinton very confidently explained that if I could deliver my first twin vaginally he could do a breech extraction for my second twin. I had never heard of this and thought maybe it was a simple routine procedure however it turns out not all OBs are comfortable with this procedure even at MGH. On the night of my induction there were not going to be any OBs on call who were comfortable doing the extraction and I faced the possibility that I would have to have both a vaginal delivery and a c-section or simply opt for a c-section. But Dr. Clinton took it upon himself to make a plan to cover my delivery as an on-call provider. When the time came, I gave birth to my first twin vaginally and then Dr. Clinton and is team went to quick work… performing a complicated series of maneuvers which safely extracted by second twin from my womb! I cannot express how grateful I am for this outcome and for Dr. Clinton's dedicated to providing the very best care to me and my family!

After a horrible experience with Dr ly 12 days a go, iit was such nice experience with dr. Clinton. Great demeanor and very comforting. Thanks again

Dr Clinton and his staff are top notch. Very personable and doesn't beat around the bush.

No words can explain what an excellent doctor and also human being he is. He is been my OB on my two pregnancies and he is always being there for me all my questions all my syntoms and even on my postpasturm depression he got me the help I need it and never rush me on my visits and he always try for my labor to be as natural as it can be he gave me confidence when I most needed it. He is the best OB in the planet would not changed him for anything ever

Dr. Clinton was always warm and professional. He took time to answer questions during visits. However, when I started experiencing pain during my pregnancy I found it difficult to contact Dr. Clinton directly for support. I was contacted by his staff instead and told my pain was normal (this ended up not being the case.) The pain turned out to be a complication with my pregnancy that was *only* caught by another department at MGH and required immediate hospitalization/drug therapy. Dr. Clinton was personally helpful after the incident, but there were several follow up mistakes from his staff. I've had issues with required medication being correctly called into the pharmacy and mixed up blood tests. Dr. Clinton was wonderful but my experience with his office has not been wonderful.

Dr. Clinton is great! Have been seeing him for years for my general OBGYN Checkups and issues. Always answers my questions thoroughly and has great bedside manner. Definitely recommend!
