now I'm going to have a tens unit surgerly installed in my back to help with the pain do to a fuseing of L4 and L5

I saw her after having seen 4 other neurosurgeons. I was hoping she could confirm a recent diagnosis or come up with a new diagnosis. She came up with a new diagnosis which proved to be an incompetent diagnosis which none of the others concluded. When she found out I was seeing another physician, she told me to leave her alone. She never followed up with me on the test she ordered and which my insurance company paid for. I took this as a warning sign to stay far away from her for any sort of surgery or other healthcare. I saw a google review that was extremely critical of her for what he said was a pair of botched spinal fusions.

My wife had spinal fusion 6 years ago...still fighting chronic pain, neuropathy, lost her job and have been deemed permantly disabled due to failed back surgery. While my wife spent, an unheard of, 9 days in recovery "Dr" bahn saw her only once for 30secs. She is nothing more then a butcher. She has paralized other patients in NY. She was sued lost patiants and was forced to move her practice. Stay away !

Stay away from Dr.Bahn Had back fusion surgery with her a little over a year ago and am still in pain so i cannot walk. The MRI shows what a botched job she did and then just disappeared. Was told she lost patients and left some paralyzed. Not accusing her but the story is around.

I owe her for fixing my back and neck. I have a better quality of life now. Thank you Dr. Bahn, your the best!!!!

Dr. Bahn tells you one thing then another. I no longer feel safe having her do my surgery. I' ve only actually seen Dr. Bahn twice. You see the P.A. which I don't like. It seems like a chop shop every month I go there. I reccomend you find another Dr.This one is not safe.

I think she's really kind. I have a herniating disk and she recommended physical therapy. I got a lot better with that plus ibuprofen. I'm walking everyday 3 miles which helps.

After years of pain from a previous surgery, I met Dr. Bahn. Every other doctor I saw told me to go back to the doctor who did my surgery. He is retired!!! Dr. Bahn told me it would be risky, but she would do her best. I woke up from surgery feeling great (except for the pain from the operation). I am 1.5 years out of surgery and feel great - she is the BEST.

This office was referred to me by SPH emergency department. When I walked into the waiting room, nearly everyone had on a neck brace or back brace. It seemed like a huge factory. When I spoke with the Dr. after going through a bunch of tests (MRIs, CAT Scans, EMGs) I was told I needed a neck surgery with fusion and a plate. I got a second opinion and was told that was not the case at all. NO surgery was necessary. Needless to say I switched doctors.

I have seen 4 spine surgeons and Dr. Bahn was the only one who took the time to sit with me and explain what my problem was and the only one who told me to try pain management and PT before surgery. I felt better for a 1 year and when I finally did have to have the surgery she was kind thoughtful and did a great job. 6 months out of my brace and I feel like a new man.
