Dr. Eva Marie Balash, MD

A true Professional !

I lived in Hyde Park for 38 years, I moved to No. Attleboro 5 years ago. I thought maybe I should find a local doctor. I did see one doctor 5 years ago. A Dr. Samel who's in Attleboro. I'm not happy with him. I was a patient of Dr. Balash before I moved, but I don't remember the exact year. I really want to come back to see her. I think she's the best skin doctor and that's what I need for my skin.

I get very anxious when I need to see any doctor. Dr. Balesh is one of the warmest, kindest, heartfelt professionals I have come across. She listens gently and really cares. Really, one of the best.

I highly recommend Dr. Balash. I have been seeing her for several years now. She is very pleasant, helpful & professional. Her office staff is great, very helpful & pleasant. I have never waited long for my appointment.

When three primary care physicians were stumped, Dr Balash nailed it on the spot. I went back with a another issue that my PCP couldn't hep with and she figured it our without tests - again. I like her .

Dr. Balash is a caring and attentive dermatologist. Many dermatologists are seeing more cosmetic (laser, botox, etc) patients now and have less time for patients with real clinical concerns - not Dr. Balash. She sees many patients with a wide range of conditions, and takes the time to listen to each one. This can result in a slightly longer wait time, but I know she gives the same attention to me, so I don't complain about the wait. She has helped with my acne, identified suspicious moles, and diagnosed several rashes. I trust her with my skin!

Doctor has lots of good handouts on different skin problems;spends time explaining treatment.Big on preventive medicine,like recommending sun protection.

This doctor examined me for roughly 10 seconds. She then wrote up three prescriptions and tossed them at me like a beggar waiting for a handout. It took several promptings from me to get her to briefly explain what the prescriptions were for. She vaguely described them and left the room all the while put off by my questioning. Months later, when I inquired about refilling the prescription, did she finally explain what it was and what the long-term effects were. And then that I could not get a refill unless I scheduled another appointment. She had the worst bedside manner I've ever seen and I've spent time in several hospitals for various injuries ranging from a broken jaw to a car accident to a broken arm from hockey. She was by FAR the worst medical professional I've ever come in contact with.
