My wife was seeing Dr. G for a-fib. He reduced her prescription heart meds which caused her a-fib to return. My wife had to go to the ER three times in one month because of a-fib and high heart rate. She tried multiple times to have Dr. G give her the proper prescription while she waited for a surgical procedure to address the a-fib. She suffered a TIA (mini-stroke) in the ER during one of her visits, likely brought on by the worsening a-fib, resulting in her having to take blood thinners for the rest of her life. She had the surgical procedure done to address the a-fib over a month after her first ER visit- Dr G would not try to schedule it any sooner despite her worsening condition. At the follow-up, Dr. G told her to stop taking the blood thinner - he didn’t remember and didn’t bother to check her records indicating she had the TIA. We switched to another cardiologist before she was harmed further.
