Dr. Evelyn Louise Henry

I've never had such a poor office visit. Henry is prone to outbursts and is offended if you question her opinions. She ordered a panel of blood work that my insurance company refused to pay for. One test she ordered was for a condition I knew I didn't have. She insisted that it be done. Excuse me? She hands out referrals like candy. My insurance company and I frown upon frivolous testing/office visits. I called Providence to complain about the excessive testing. Their response was to imply that I must need financial help if I had a problem with the bill. No. I have a problem with a disrespectful woman who won't listen and is rude to her patients.

Took my significant other to see her. She had been dealing with chronic pain, dry eyes, numbness and tingling in her feet. Rapid heart beat. Told her it was menopause and anxiety and sent her in her way. Eventually she was diagnosed with another disease. Also mocked her about how much money was being paid by ‘the system’ to find out what was wrong. Very belittling and hurtful.

Super nice staff. The doctor is rude, short tempered. The minute I told her I had long term chronic pain she freaked. She had me open my mouth looked at my tonsils and told me I would die if I took anything for pain. Then she walked out and refused to answer my questions.

I was referred to Dr Henry. So I went and I was told so many lies by her, first of all being I am here for all your needs no need for any other doctors I specialize in women’s health etc.. So a few months pass and a women need comes up I go to her and all of a sudden she doesn’t specialize in that I need to go somewhere else!! Two I have my own GI doctor I told her this when I met her it’s in my records and then I get a call from a GI office saying Dr Henry set my up an appt??? I also have asthma and have had my own respiratory doctor for 10 years now after one appt with Dr Henry I get a call from a different respiratory doctor saying Dr Henry set up an appt for me. She doesn’t listen!!!! She labeled me a difficult Patient because I would not keep these appt she was setting when I already had providers!!!!

My insurance dropped my regular doctor. Wish I had seen these reviews earlier as it would have helped me decide to not go to her. She hyper focused on an issue I was not there to be seen for. Took over an hour and a half past my appointment time to be seen. From the moment she walked in the room she went straight to typing. And kept typing. No eye contact and extremely rushed. By the time the appointment was over I didn't know why I had bothered. She didn't even tell me which medications she renewed or didn't renew. Had to find out at the pharmacy. She made me feel awful by the time I left and made it very apparent that her level of concern was nill. If you want a provider that'll make you wait, then rush through your appointment and not listen, then she's the perfect provider for you. It's a shame too, probably the nicest office staff I've talked to. They were more helpful than she was.

The worst part is waiting for the doctor to come in the room. I've sat in the exam room waiting for the doctor for over 40 mins. I usually plan an hour for my 15 min appointment. But it takes that long just for the doctor to enter the room!

I have never had a worse experience with a provider. Went to be seen about a neck injury after a car accident and was asked about everything other than the accident. She didn't even bother checking me out (injuries had already been confirmed by multiple other doctors) and when she finally did she was so aggressive when she grabbed my neck I had to physically pull her hands off of me. Her solution? Sit in a dark and quiet room to get rid of my neck pain. Idiot.
