Dr. Niyazi completed his internal medicine residency through the Henry Ford Health System at Wayne State University, Detroit, MI. After graduation, he worked as an internal medicine physician at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, OH. During his time at Cleveland Clinic, he participated in clinical research in the gastroenterology and hepatology departments while there. Dr. Niyazi started his gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship at the University of Iowa in 2015 and joined the division of Gastroenterology at the University of Iowa as a Clinical Assistant Professor after graduation. He joined MNGI in 2022.
