Dr. Farhan Omar Karim, DO

Dr. Karim is a great spine surgeon. He performed spinal fusion surgery on my husband 3 yrs ago and my husband feels so much better and resumed all of his physical activities. We respect his medical advice.

Liked very much working with Dr. Karim. He explained my condition and the necessary procedures. He performed a pretty delicate operation and I am experiencing some positive results. Would definitely recommend Dr. Karim.

First time I was in for pain management. He stormed in the room, introduced self very quickly and began telling me what he knew I did not have. Was speaking very fast and when he was asked if he was in a rush because he was moving quite fast. He stated " I am from New York and yah people in Connecticut always think i am fast." I was highly turn off at this point and asked him for a different doctor. He was not letting me explain my symptoms and was dismissive about my symptoms and the pain I have been experiencing for years. I can go on and on but I will stop here. Bottom line I did not feel heard or that he actually cared to hear what was going on with me. I could care less about pills and it took me years to even come in for an appointment. I just wanted for him to take his time and listen to what I have been experiencing and work with me in getting me the best solution through this process. He was unprofessional!!! I left the office and dis not continue.

Dr. Karin is an excellent doctor who takes his time, explains procedure and doesn’t do unnecessary work. Pleased with office staff and would recommend him with no problem.

Dr Karim is the ideal surgeon. He listens well and then takes the necessary X-rays to help determine the necessary plan of action to deal with your pain(s). Smart , personable and super knowledgeable in his field. I could not recommend him any higher.
