Dr. Farshad Bagha Nowzari, MD

I had a highly disappointing experience with Dr. Farshad Nowzari today during a consultation regarding my son’s ongoing pain and the possibility of it being related to a urinary tract infection (UTI). I expressed concern over whether a UTI could be causing pain, which is widely noted in medical literature as a common symptom. Surprisingly, Dr. Nowzari firmly insisted that UTIs do not cause pain, dismissing my question. When I attempted to clarify, he responded by touching my shoulder, asserting his certainty, then turning his back and walking away mid-discussion. This dismissive and unprofessional behavior left me concerned not only about his bedside manner but also his clinical judgment on a well-documented medical fact. Studies suggest that for every one person who takes the time to write a review, around 20 others with similar experiences don’t. I find it hard to believe that I’m the only one who’s had this type of interaction with Dr. Nowzari. Please, don’t let one of these… negative experiences be yours. I am seeking a second opinion as his assessment contradicts reputable sources, which strongly indicate that UTIs can indeed cause pain. I would urge potential patients to consider this experience when evaluating options for urological care.

Dr. Nowzari came into my consult like he was speedy Gonzalez. He talked immediately fast and hardly let me get a word in. I explained the urgency of my issue and was dismissed. He kept focusing on tests, tests, and more tests, when I had brought labs and ultrasound images that were less than a week old to the consult. On top of that, the office is extremely disorganized and full of old equipment. I arrived early to my appointment and still waited over an hour to be seen, with many people in the waiting room complaining of the same issue. I don't usually leave reviews, but this doctor warrants a warning. Avoid him at all costs. He does not care about his patients.

First visit to this doctor and office. Office wasn’t that organized or clean. After doing the blood work I decided to search for a new doctor through my partners insurance. I called to get my results, was told each time I callled someone would call me back. After rhe 4 call they said I had to come in or do a video call. I explained I just wanted the results and the reason and that I would not be coming in or doing a video call to be charged again for a appointment. They told me again they would call the next day. Plenty more issues but not going to go into the details. Will be calling my insurance to dispute the charges for blood work that they refuse to provide.

Dr. Nowzari treated kidney stone and I was back to work the next day. I would highly recommend him.
