Dr. Soroush Adam Ramin, MD

Me and my son are patients of Dr. Ramin but if you value your health, stay away from this office. They are so overbooked, that they will keep putting you to see a PA who has no clue what is he doing and will dismiss any concerns you may have. I have a high PSA test and my general doctor asked me to see Dr. Ramin ASAP, I made an appointment weeks ago but only one day before, they canceled it and the lady who answered the phone is EXTREMELY RUDE and arrogant! Don't go here if you value your health, you will regret it!

When all hope seemed lost, Dr.Ramin gave us a silver lining and a new will to live for my 47 y.o. husband diagnosed with terminal cancer 10 months ago. Undiagnosed kidney cancer, unknown how long it has been metastatic and invaded on multiple organs to the spine, liver, lungs, all regional lymph nodes and abdominal areas to my seemed health, young 47 yo. Husband with very young kids to raise. We seek Dr. Ramin’s professional advice when UCLA liver/kidney team denied surgical intervention, deeming he might not survive the long surgery and whatever complications. Dr. Ramin saw the Ct scan once and with his expertise responded simply , “ this is doable”. We will do the surgery in Cedars Sinai Medical Center, will consult with Dr. Nessir/Dr.Kosari liver team.” We just couldn’t believe it, my husband who’s been 85% bedridden for the past 1/1/2 month due to severe pain from his back (right kidney tumor large enough to invade the liver, lungs. Dr.Ramin said it just like that, it’s doable ! … Within 3 weeks, the surgery was scheduled with a 1-week setback due to lowering blood level needing blood transfusion first. The most memorable day May 24, 2022, a long surgery, all our families and friends rallied for prayers, for my husband, the surgeons, nurses and assistants to pull it through. It was the longest day, very tedious surgery with bleeding complication, unable to stop bleeding for 1.5 hours per the liver team yet God works really in mysterious ways. The surgery was successful and 2 months’ post-surgery, my husband is now driving and yes, he’s able to walk at least around our house and yard. Our Oncologists previous Dr. Kroloff (UCLA) and presently Dr. Figlin (Cedars Sinai) did say it was nothing short of heroic attempt for Dr. Ramin and Drs. Nessir/Kosari @ Cedars Sinai Medical Center. My husband and I can’t recommend this team enough. No words can describe how grateful we are for their dedication and expertise. We hope someday there will be routine kidney screening for all, not just the usual colonoscopy, pap smear, mammograms as we learned this kind of cancer is hard to detect, undiagnosed for years. It will be a long journey for the next few months’ treatment wise, immunotherapy, targeted cell therapy, tests and scans yet we know my husband is in good hands with God guiding us each day.

Dr. Ramin not only saved my husband’s life but saved the quality of his life. Dr. Ramin is very thorough, intelligent, caring, concerned, articulate, confident, capable and compassionate. He is everything you could possibly want in a doctor. We are blessed to have found Dr. Ramin. I wish all doctors were more like him.

Thank you Dr.Ramin. I have delt with my issues for over 8 years and a number of physicians and alot of false hopes and frustration . I was referred to you, and your diagnosis was quick and correct you had a fast plan of action and fixed my issues I haven't felt this good in that area in years. The most caring Doctor I've ever known, he does put the time in caring for his patients. When doing procedures he explains them and make sure that u understand what will take place. I had bladder cancer and he replaced it with a noe-bladder. It was Robotic surgery, today I am doing well and I am so thankful to have had Dr S Adam Ramin for my surgeon, I can't thank him enough for saving my life. I will always hold a special place in my heart for Dr S Ramin.

I have been seeing Dr. Ramin at his Century City office for 3 years for routine checkups. Although this positive review is prompted by a recent surgical procedure, I would give Dr. Ramin an extremely high rating for his routine care as well. Dr. Ramin is competent and extremely knowledgeable in his field. He is also an empathetic communicator and shows an “old school” approach to patient care – he takes all the time that is needed to explain things to the patient. As I mentioned, I recently needed a very important surgical procedure. I should mention the condition would have been much worse if Dr. Ramin had not been so attentive to my health – it was caught VERY early. I took the time to do a great deal of research on my condition and the available treatments, and learned that surgery was the most effective way to deal with it – I also learned that the efficacy of the surgery and the post-surgery recovery time were directly linked to the skill of the surgeon. Dr. Ramin… performed the surgery with the utmost of that skill and as a result, my post-surgical recovery period was very short. I give Dr. Ramin the strongest possible recommendation.

Dr. Ramin is wonderful urologist and surgeon and performed my surgery 3 years ago. He takes the time to answer your questions, and addressed my concerns. His staff is efficient, friendly, and always gets me in quickly to be seen. I am truly blessed to have been referred to Dr. Ramin and to be a patient under his amazing care!

HE DID NOT ONLY SPEND TIME ON MY SITUATION BUT HE MADE SURE I HAD THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER....NO PAIN! As a man, the words â??Aggressive Prostate Cancerâ?? can strike deep into your psyche as it threatens the very essence of those things that define you as a man. My immediate reaction, which may not be how other men respond, was OK how do I pro-actively fight this thingâ??. How do you find the right medical partner to help you in this fight? For me, medical practice is not only a science. It is also an art. So you better like and, more importantly trust, the medical partner you select to help you wage the battle. For me, it was Adam Ramin and his staff. Never considered a second opinion. After the initial visit, biopsy and prognosis, there was no doubt in my mind that Dr. Ramin would make a formidable partner. His expertise in robotic surgery, his frank and calculated advice on next steps including the need for advanced radiation if necessary has all lead to a very positive prognosis in my case. Only time will tell. But I know Dr. Ramin will have my back. I trust him...and… that is the biggest compliment I can give any doctor.

Very very unprofessional staff. I made an appointment at his North Hollywood office and over the phone I told them exactly what kind of insurance I had. When arrived at my appointment, I was told they didn't accept my insurance. They asked me to pay $150 cash, and since I needed to see a doctor and I had traveled more than 90 minutes to make it there, I decided to pay the fee and I asked them to bill me; however, they didn't even have the decency to do that to make up for their mess up and they wanted the payment in cash. Very very rude staff in addition to the filthy waiting area.
