I've been going to this office for several years now, and his office is very popular to the older people from the Russian community. It was overall a good experience but after each visit wanted to try someone else. I did not feel that my issue was given enough importance and empathy, and it was difficult to build rapport with Dr. Sokolsky. He remains distant and a bit arrogant at times, which does not make it quite easy to be open and comfortable with him. His wife who works there as a nurse/receptionist, is a darling and compensates somewhat for the lack of empathy of her husband. Although he does spend more time on average than other doctors, and I like that he does not waste time for small talk that encroaches into "medical time", which many other doctors do. Why I have stayed for several years with them now? Perhaps devil that you know if better than the one you don't. :)

I have been a patient of Dr.Sokolsky's for years now and have always had positive experiences at his office. He takes time to make sure he knows the extent of my problem and seems to really care about me and my health. I have been to doctor's in the past were everything just seemed like a business and they tried to get me in and out as fast as possible, not bothering to take the time and care to truly evaluate my condition at the time. It is not like this AT ALL at Dr.Sokolsky's office, excellent doctor and extremely professional!

Staff in the office is very nice and accommodating. Dr. Sokolsky seems to be a knowledgeable fellow, however his manner is not very inviting and epathic to open up about the problems.
