Dr. Fiona Oreilly Zwald, MD

I have never had such a rude experience with the front desk at a doctor's office. Dr Zwald is fine but her husband and secretary is insufferable.

Dr. Zwald cared for my father for many years, through several Mohs surgeries, and for my cousin, a transplant patient. Both of them adored her. I am now a patient, and don't think I have ever met a more caring and empathetic physician. She clearly explains all the details of your treatment, with a twinkle of Irish humor.

I've seen Dr. Zwald in her new office on Mt. Vernon Highway, and years ago at her prior office near Piedmont Hospital. She has always been very friendly, gentle, and attuned to my nervousness. She immediately put me at ease, and talked me through the entire procedure before, and as she worked. I have complete confidence in her skills and highly recommend her to prospective patients.

Dr Zwald is very professional and caring. She diagnosed my problem right away and made be feel very comfortable. My treatment worked great!...have recommended my family to see her...thrilled I have found myself an excellent dermatologist!

I went in to remove some skin tags. I was suppposed to meet the RN, since Dr Zwald was not available. The RN told me to snip it myself with a scissors as it would cost me over $160 out of pocket to get the 5 tiny tags removed ( 10 minutes max). I left the office with no service but a liquid nitrogen spray on a wart on my finger. My insurance was charged and paid over $400, including Dr Zwald's time, though I never saw her..bummer
