I disagree w/the negative comments left about Dr.Papay. I'm not sayin ur liars. In fact, I am terribly sry if ur experience w/him was unpleasant. I had a cat scan done on my nose last yr by my ENT. In all his yrs he said my nose was horrible. It looked like a scrambled up puzzle piece. My nose was broken in 2/3 places. Collapsed septum, cartilage missing on my left side of my nose, I had ur typical italian nose. Lol. Big w/a hump. It was more of a beak. My ENT wasn't comfortable doin the surgery bc so much cosmetic needed 2 be performed as well. I was referred 2 Dr.Papay & he was very thorough explaining to me exactly what the procedure would entail. He even pointed out a few other minor issues he saw. The day of my surgery I was extremely scared. I'm 31yrs old & as tuff as I think I am, I bawled my eyes out. I even wrote a will. Dr. Papay was very sincere & sympothetic towards me. I had my surgery 3wks ago. I had little to almost no bruising, but swelled up the day after. I have… had so many compliments on the fantastic job he did. A few of my friends are actually scheduling appointments w/him for cosmetic procedures. I can't say enough good things about him. I am overall very pleased w/how well he reconstructed my nose. I also would like to mention is assistant CHAR. Love her! She is a sweetheart. Everyone has their own personal experience & opinions. I would suggest scheduling an appointment w/him 1st & see how comfortable u are b4 making a decision on whether or not u want him to be ur physician for surgery. At the end of the day its up 2 u. U can't go by what others tell u. U have to be the 1 who makes the call.

I am disappointed with the reviews here. My experience with Dr. papay has been exemplary. While the office visits, I often wait longer than I'd like, he is very throrough in his time with me, and in fact has discouraged me from several procedures. He did a rhino and uppper bleph at the same time so I would not have to under go anesthesia twice. Several years ago, he did a lower bleph, and I couldnt be happier. He has also done BOTOX, mcuh better than anyone else. So I do recommend him!

I went to him after hearing great reviews. I am so disappointed. My rhinoplasty came out absolutely horrible. Not only can I not breathe but aesthetically it looks awful. I Went to another surgeon at Cleveland clinic to inquire about revision. He admitted that it was a horrible job done by Papay And that Papay even broke my nose in the wrong spot. Did not even go through with the revision surgery because the revision surgeon was not even sure he could fix the disaster! Seriously do not believe the hype!

We had another minor surgery scheduled for our 3 month old son with another surgeon at the Cleveland clinic, so when I took our son to Dr. Papay about a lesion on his back he scheduled it for the same time as the other surgery so they could do both at once and he would't have to be put under anestisia twice. The day of the surgeries my baby had to fast for several hours and when it came time to go in, the other Dr's realized that Dr. Papay did not have me sign an informed consent, which had to be done before they could get started. They could not reach Dr. Papay by pager or phone and after an hour of waiting past the time the surgery was scheduled to begin, and no word from Dr. Papay we made the decision to have the other surgeon do both procedures. We were extremely happy because the other surgeon did a wonderful job; however we were displeased with the lack of responsibility of Dr. Papay. I would NOT recommend this doctor to be depended on or trusted.
