Dr. Francoise Menteer

I went to Dr. Menteer after an experience with another internist of the “prevention police” variety so common in CA, e.g., the ones who believe being gluten free is the cure to all ills, etc. I lead a fairly healthy lifestyle but nevertheless had a couple of bouts of E. Coli and then c. Diff, which she guided me through, along with my GI doctor, for a few harrowing months. She was always extremely responsive to my texts/calls, and always made the right call. She is the perfect doctor synthesis of sympathetic and analytical. Highly recommend her practice. I must also add that her office staff and nurses are fabulous and extremely kind and helpful.

Dr. Menteer is the best doctor I have ever had. My husband, daughter and I feel her care, communication, knowledge and office staff is top notch.

I just wanted to do a "Shout Out" to Dr Menteer and her wonderful staff. The last few months have been very challenging for me but with the help, support, caring and kindness I feel I am over the huddle. The good Dr and her team are always there for me every step of the way. The on spot medical attention, follow ups, coordination, makes me feel safe and secure. Thank you Dr Menteer, Dona, Rose and Leigh. Your the best of the best!!

I have been taking my Mom to Dr Menteer since the very beginning. She has always made my Mom feel at ease and cared about. She spends quality time with her and addresses all her health issues, always being extremely proactive. I am very happy my Mom has a Dr that she trusts and feels 100% comfortable with. Dr Menteer is very spot on and up to date, which makes a big difference in my moms health issues. Our family is extremely confident that she is getting the best care possible! She is highly recommended... Besides being a wonderful Dr, the staff at her office is incredible! We have been with them for over 12 years now and feel and are treated like family. They goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of and follow up even after a slight sniffle (lol) Dr Menteer and the staff she has with her could not be rated any higher. In my and my family's humble opinion.. The best of the best!

I'm new to Dr. Menteer's practice in Thousand Oaks, but I knew right away I made the right choice. Dr. Menteer is very caring and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable and at ease with her. She spent the time with me that I needed and I didn't feel rushed at all. The staff was caring and attentive. The office is bright, beautiful and very inviting.

She did not give me the correct medical diagnosis and she really did not seem very caring nor concerned about my condition. I paid an additional fee for the "VIP" services which did not help me get an appointment nor any type of medical care more quickly.

Dr. Meenter was fantastic, nice, and very knowledgeable. She cared about listening to all of my concerns and would always respond in a timely manner. I was very sad when I heard she left my office but I wish her the best and know her new patients are very lucky to have found her.

I've seen Dr. Menteer for three years now and I feel she is a great doctor. I started seeing her based on a friends referal. At first glance the office is old and could be updated but Dr. Menteer is a great doc. She is caring, has a great bedside manner and knows her stuff. I never feel rushed and I'm always taken care of. I would rather have a great doc with an older wating room than a beautiful waiting room with a bad doc!

The office is dreary, dirty and old. The employees seem sad, frighteningly stupid and slow. Had to make two calls for an appointment and when I left I waited and waited but no one came so i just left without a follow up appointment. Dr Menteer is very likable and adorable but I have no idea if she is any good. I kind of think that with those people and that office I'm not going to last long there.

She has always shown a caring attitude and quality insight into the ailment I was having.
