Dr. Frank Diaz Deleon, MD

I had an unusual medical problem and was referred to Dr. Deleon. At my first visit he was kind and thorough. I allowed several students and staff members to observe my exam since I was such a rare case and he requested they be able to learn from my case. I felt good about seeing him and scheduled a follow up appointment for some further testing. When I returned for that second appointment he acted like he had no idea who I was and asked questions about my history that should have been clear in my chart from the first visit, especially since I was such an unusual case. He then told me he would not be able to perform the testing I was there for and told me I misunderstood the reason for the appointment. I am 100% sure I did not misunderstand. He said he was unsure of what was wrong and I should just wait and see if things improve on their own, even though the symptoms had been worsening for over a year. There were also problems with billing from these appointments and his office staff… were not helpful in fixing the incorrect charges. I changed providers and the new physician was quickly able to help me and my problem was finally resolved almost 2 years after it started.

I originally thought that I would like Dr. DeLeon... but he only saw me 3 times .. the intial consult , one time for a sono and 1 other time and he only talked to me in the hallway then sent me on my way. His AWFUL NURSE KATHY is a really hateful , negative person... whom should not be treating fertility patients.. she screams at the staff and was very rude to me every time I came in or called... like she didn't want to be bothered... Later I find out that nurse KATHY is actually Dr. De'Leons wife ... so don't bother complaining to him!!! The only plesant one in the office was Candy the receptionist ... poor girl , I witnessed her getting cussed out by nurse Kathy. RUN AWAY go to a different RE

im the type of person that hates going to the doctors office.. when i first met dr. deleon he was very professional, but didnt lack a caring or courteous manner. he examined me, and explained what he was doing while he examined me. then he fully explained his diagnosis to me. i mean he didnt have a nurse do it, he sat me down in his personal office and talked to me. it was great that he took time to do that for me. then his nurse, kathy, just put me right at ease and made the experience a good one. i love his entire staff, if i could see dr. deleon for everything that ails me i would. i have recommended him to friends and family who also love the atmosphere of his office and his bedside manner. i have seen him over the years for my condition and his manner with me has never changed, its only gotten better. a great caring man and a wonderful doctor.
