Dr. Frank Guastella Anderson, MD

I paid for private consultation with Dr. Anderson some years ago at the high recommendation of mutual colleagues. I wish I'd had the confidence then that I have now: I would have told this man that I didn't trust his knowledge or his heart. Arrogant, unhelpful, and ignorant of many essentials. And it's a testimony to the field of trauma care that he has the reputation he does.

I was initially so heartened to meet Dr. Anderson, who came highly recommended. He was a compassionate listener who clearly had talents in psychotherapy, not just psychopharmacology. As time went on however, he was extremely difficult to reach when I had a severe negative reaction to a medication, or when my condition worsened. When I was hospitalized, Dr. Anderson could not be found. It was most concerning that he was reluctant to engage fully in the responsibilities of this professional role, and quite detrimental to me on multiple occasions. His hourly rates - payable in cash or check - have soared despite his avoidance of any extra patient care outside of the fifty minutes in the office. He takes good care of himself!
