I was referred to several spine specialists, including Dr. Frank Phillips, for a second opinion on my back issue. I decided to book an appointment with Dr. Phillips based on his reputation, ratings, patient reviews, and YouTube videos showing his use of augmented reality (AR) to improve precision in minimally invasive spine surgery. During my new patient visit, Dr. Phillips listened carefully to my concerns and symptoms and answered my questions. He was very patient and reassured me that the surgery would take 2-3 hours, compared with 7-8 hours that a previous spine specialist had told me. Overall, he was very direct and detailed in explaining how he would treat my back condition. His PA walked me through the pre-operative process in detail. With that information, I decided to transfer my care to Dr. Phillips and his team.

Dr Phillips was the only doctor who listened and took my pain seriously. Before I went to see a surgeon I tried many therapies. I had physical therapy, chiropractic therapy and acupuncture therapy. I also received back injections. I went to see a neurosurgeon who said I had pain in my leg because I smoked and sent sent me for an ultrasound. I went to Dr Phillips and he did the surgery and the pain down my leg disappeared. Prior to surgery I was not able to walk through a grocery store without pain. Now I walk the malls and flea markets. Dr Phillips is a terrific surgeon.

All I can say is Dr. Phillips gave me my life back!!! I had a very degenerated disc, that was pressing on a nerve. The pain was brutal down my right arm never ending. He preformed a disc replacement surgery. Recovery was rough. But here I am 3 months out from surgery and feeling great. Thank you Dr. Phillips!!! Your the best!!!!!
