Dr. Franklyn Fitzgerald Farrell, MD

VETERANS BEWARE! Despite being given 5+ years of records from multiple neurologists, rheumatologists, and PCPs which all clearly indicated and described functional impact of health conditions I sustained in the service to our nation, Dr. Farrell chose to generate contra-indicative opinions and not fill out entire portions of my DBQ when he completed my VA evaluation. He clearly didn't look at any medical records and he didn't listen to me. The errors and inaccurate information he entered into the questionnaire bordered blatant lies and took years to be corrected. His job was simple, he was to review my records and translate them to a simple questionnaire. Rather he took it upon himself to ignore his job, rushed the appointment, and entered information which was wildly inaccurate. The good news is that my records were able to be accurately reviewed by a doctor with common sense and after long appeal process the VA was able to see past Dr. Farrell's non-sense fiction interpretation.

It says a lot about a Doctor when the only criticism you can think of is that you didn't like the selection of reading material in the waiting room. Even that criticism is irrelevant since I only had to wait, at most, ten minutes.This was my first visit with Dr. Farrell and it couldn't have gone better. The staff was friendly and helpful, the office was so high tech I felt like I was in the sick bay of the USS Enterprise (Star Trek), and Dr. Farrell was, in a word, excellent.I left with an understanding of what was wrong with me, a plan to fix it, and (most importantly), hope.To put this review in perspective: I normally wouldn't even take the time to give a bad review to a restaurant that served a dead rat with my steak.
