Horrible...I had a mini tummy tuck and fat grafting to my breast. I had uneven breasts and he was sure he could fix them. After $8000 and months of him trying to correct the problems he has caused ive had to go to another doctor to fix the bigger problems he has caused. Not to mention the mental anguish i have gone through for several months. He has no idea what he is doing. Very depressing. Too bad he doesnt get his license taken away. ANYBODY would be better than him!

This man butchered me and did nothing to help find a resolve. I have spent between $40,000 - $50,000 trying to turn back what he did to me and I can't. He doesn't care about his patients and will cause you more harm. There is nothing one can do about it either once he does damage because of the ways the laws are set up and he knows it. He destroyed my life, please don't let him do the same to you.

Please, Listen to me, if you are wondering about this plastic surgeon, do not walk , but run away, as fast as you possible can! If I have lived on this earth for any other reason but to warn other innocent people who have saved precious money to better there lives, please understand me when I say this was the WORST! experience of my life and I would do ANYTHING to turn back time and NOT go to this QUACK! And to top it off he has absolutely NO remorse whatsoever for his inadequacies! Very SAD!!! Please don't be enticed with his slightly cheaper prices it IS NOT WORTH IT! I would give the world to have NEVER GONE TO HIM! And I wish more than anything I had found a review like this before I had!

Dr. Thompson and staff were AMAZING!!!! Super affordable, great results, and so worth it! I can't believe how easy and simple this was. He is a wonderful surgeon, professional and exceeded all my expectations. I met with so many other doctors before him. Highly recommended!

First he cinvinced me to have a surgery that I did not even inquire about and then after he butchered my eyes his last words to me were If I hold my nose upward and squint my eyes, it didnt look too bad, then he turned and walked out the door never to help me find a resolve or a direction to fix what he did. It has cost me over $30,000 and 6 operations to correct what he did and I will still need more. A lot of these sites will say wether or not mal-practice or other formal charges against doctors but they do not take into affect that Drs like Dr. Thompson are in a politically protected state from such actions so that they can intise doctors to the mid-west. There are only a couple of attorneys left in Kansas City because of this protection and they can not make a living in this feild and so the patients have no idea that a doctor they are interested in has any issues or not.

A courteous and complete examination was performed in a private and up-to-date office by a pleasant doctor.My breast augmentation went well and I am very pleased with with the new me.

3.He continued to encourage my doing a procedure that I did not go in for by telling me that it would be a simple procedure for him and that there would be no problems. I would be back to doing normal activities in two weeks.4.I reminded him again of my previous surgeries and I brought up concerns about the elasticity in my skin and the potential for droopiness or a wide eyed look and he said there would be no problem with that and then reassured me that in that rare instance if that did occur, he could easily rectify it. The only thing that he added was that he would not be able to remove all of the wrinkles; it would not be perfectly smooth.5.He misled me with saying that he could not only correct my ability to close my eyes properly but that he would also improve my looks.6.After the first surgery it drooped extensively, exposing the pink inside of my lower lid and even after several weeks from the surgery when I expressed concerns he kept telling me that it just needed to heal.… Even as it continued to worsen he would blow me off and tell me to just use cover up and it would look fine. I told him that there was no way to apply cover up to the exposed inside of my eyes and it wouldnt look fine.7.After more time had gone by and with my continuing to complain, he thought maybe there might be a problem and opted to try and correct the issue with another surgery.8.After the surgery there was some improvement but they still dropped and now the eyes were no longer balanced in size. There were now lumpy, knotted areas in the outer corner of my eyes that affected my peripheral vision and it now pulled my upper lids downward to such a point that it lowered my brows and change the arch of the brow to an unappealing and unnatural look. This also caused me problems in doing such a simple thing as looking upward without tilting my head upward.9.He also did not suture up the incisions properly, they were loose to where I still have scars to this day. He blew his lack of ability to close an incision properly by telling me he could also fix that by doing laser treatments on me in the future.10.Eventually Dr. Thompson did a third surgery on one eye hopefully bring balance. He didnt succeed. I became more and more depressed and withdrawn. I would not leave my house but only to meet appointments with Dr Thompson and when doing so, I could not drive myself because of how my vision was affected by what he had done to me. He told me that the lumps in the corner of my eyes were just scar tissue and that if I massaged them they would eventually go away. He did injections into the scar tissue that he claimed would soften them but they never did.( I later found out through an ocular-facial plastic surgeon that those so called lumps in the corner of my eyes were tissue that Dr. Thompson just wadded up and tied off; thy were never going to go away without surgical intervention to release them and place the tissue in its proper place.)11.Dr Thompson obviously was over his head and kept trying to brush off my concerns with how poorly I looked. My final visit with him, his last words to me were If I hold my nose upward and squint my eyes, it didnt look too bad. Then he turned and walked out the door and left me there.12.Later I contacted four ocular-facial plastic surgeons, all of which told me that the only way to correct the problem would be with further multiple plastic surgery procedures. Procedures that included inch skin grafts to replace missing skin and also a 3M mesh implant to add support. This fact a lone indicates that the procedure that what Dr. Thompson did was not done right. If it was, then why do corrective surgery? I called Dr. Thompsons office to tell him what was told to me and what needed to be done to correct the issue brought on by him and his offices response was that they have never had any problems before and wished me well and hung up on me. I would have thought that Dr. Thompson would have shown concern that there was a problem that needed to be addressed, especially if colleagues showed concern but he blew me off yet again.13.I went further into depression not leaving my house for months even becoming suicidal to the point that I have had to be medicated. I have since had the surgery to correct my eyes and yes they now have balance and I can now close my eyes, look up and have my peripheral to where I can drive again but still after 10 months I continue to have a pillow look swelling under my eyes that make me look tired and even have dark circles under my eyes that I never had until Dr. Thompson worked on me. The ocular facial plastic surgeon told me that I may always have dark circles now because of the thinning of the skin due to the previous surgeries that removed too much tissue. I am still not to the point of looking like I did prior to Dr. Thompson and definitely not better like he guaranteed. According to Websters Dictionary, negligence means want of attention or care. Neglect itself means, A failure to perform (an act, duty, etc., especially through carelessness; to fail to attend to, fail to care for, disregard. This is what Dr. Thompson did. The Hippocratic Oath states: I will remember that I remain a member of society, with special obligations to all my fellow human beings & to keep the good of the patient as the highest priority. It also states To practice and prescribe to the best of my ability for the good of my patients, and to try and avoid harming them. Plus: I will not be ashamed to say I know not, nor will I fail to call in my colleagues when skills of another are needed for a patients recovery. When complications became apparent and due to the lack of resolve & confidence on Dr. Thompsons part to correct the issues brought on by him, I was abandoned and left to personally find the resources to have my eyes corrected and repaired; he offered no resources. Talked me into a procedure that he "guaranteed" would make me look better to only cause me not onlt to look deformed but also caused physical damage to where I lost proper functions with my eyes. He did not care about this outcome nor did he take any steps into finding resolutions to correcting the problems caused by his hands. This is an aweful doctor with no regards to his patients.
