Dr. Frederick Harold Ziel, MD

Dr. Ziel has done an excellent job of treating my thyroid condition for more years than I care to count. His manner is always professional, cheerful and patient. He has a steady hand with that dreaded biopsy needle & is quick to email lab results & additional instructions. Terrific communication; Dr Ziel is careful to always explain medical details. Never had any problems appointment logistics. His support staff assistance is spot on. I am pleased to recommend Dr. Ziel & his office without qualification.

The day he performed an biopsy on me, he saw a patient across the hall, performed ultra sound her, did not wear protected gloves, than touched two computers and place unprotected hands on my neck feeling my thyroid, applying jell, performed ultra sound, than put on gloves to do a biopsy. He did the biopsy without ever cleaning the area or using any Anesthesa. He performed the biopsy on the left side when the tumor was on the right. No cells recovered, requiring a second biopsy.
