Dr. Gabriel Carabulea

One of the worst doctor I have ever been too. Does not listen and rude. Called my primary doctor to discontinue medications that had nothing to do with him, but would not prescribe antibiotics for a foot infection.

Dr. Carabulea has been my oncologist for over 13 years since I was first diagnosed with Stage 4 Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. He was there every step of the way and performed the chemo himself in his office. To this day, he monitors my health and if it were not for him, I don't know how I would have fared out. If you are looking for a touchy-feely doctor - probably not your doctor. If you are looking for a pragmatic, knowledgeable professional that is going to get you to the other side, I would not want anyone else next to my side.

We went into this doctor’s office with high anxiety in hopes of getting results from a biopsy. Besides having to wait forever to come to our room, his office manager Patty had to request for him to come into our room twice. Keep in mind, his office wasn’t even busy. Once he finally started, he asked us all kinds of questions, then realized he was ready the wrong test results. When we asked if we could have him give us an update on the biopsy, once again it took him forever to get to the results. He is an awful communicator and can’t even answer simple questions. Can’t believe this guy is a doctor.

Do not waste your time & money with this Doctor.. I was Referred to this specialist last year through my primary physician. I called and spoke to (Patty Eastham) the office manager and provided my insurance information to make sure that they were within my network. She called me back the next day and informed me that they were in fact with in the network and scheduled an appointment for the following week. I arrived on time and had to sit and wait approximately 1.5 hours to see the Dr. The Doctor spent 5 min and ordered a blood test and said it would take a few days to get the results. I waited almost a week and called the office and asked if they had the results, after a 20 min wait on the phone, The nurse came back on line and said "Yes" we do have the results but could not discuss over the phone. I begged her to just tell me if the results were positive or negative, she replied the Doctor needs to see you to discuss your results. At this time, I am thinking the worst, I'm… thinking that I have Cancer. I made the appointment for the following day and was there almost 30 min early anxious of finding out what is wrong with me. Well, they put me in a room and make me wait another hour, and finally the Doctor comes in the room with my chart and says, everything is fine. I was first relieved but than angry, I told the Doctor why his nurse couldn't just tell me that the result was negative & everything was ok on the phone. He didn't answer and left the room. I came to the Lobby and asked for the office manager. I explained what just happened, she apologized and I left. A month later I get a bill for $180 for that visit, I called and spoke to Patty again, she said she would take care of it. A year later I am trying to get a loan and I was informed that there is a negative collection account on my credit, I found out that they reduced the bill by 50% hoping that the collection agency would collect. I immediately called Patty again and she flat out refused to do anything and Referred me back to the Collection agency. I want everyone to know the kind of business they do, unethical, and unprofessional. Do not waste your time with this so called Doctor.

This doctor called my mom after she said that she was changing practices to complain that she was changing Drs. I have never ever ever heard of such thing.. Stay away!
