My son, who is 23 years old, was born with a rare, genetic and progressive disease - FAP Gardner's Syndrome with Desmoid tumors. We live in Indiana and for over 17 years we were treated by doctors in Indiana, Michigan and at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. This is a very complicated disease and as it progressed many tumors were removed and some grew back. Desperation and a longing to find a team of doctors whose knowledge, experience, compassion and dedication to excellent patient care brought us to Dr. Tinoco and OSU. Immediately, we both knew we were at the best place we could be. Dr. Tinoco truly has a gift. His compassion and ability to connect with patients and families has been unmatched by every other hospital we have been too. Under Dr. Tinoco's care and supervision my son has had tumors removed - as well as his colon - and he has received several rounds of chemotherapy. Throughout our journey Dr. Tinoco, his team and his staff, have been readily available and willing to… prepare us, explain to us and plan with us - the next steps. Dr. Tinoco does not give up hope and he is dedicated to his patients. We highly recommend Dr. Tinoco and we are forever grateful to him.

Never on time for your appointment. Keeps you waiting while he is in his office chatting with staff. Not even courtesy updates from staff if he was actually discussing patient topics. When addressed about his constant tardiness (by more than 45 minutes each time) he states I should expect to wait every time. So, an appointment to him means nothing. Disrespectful.
