Dr. Gabrielle M Reine, MD

I’d seen Jane Molinari for my 2nd pregnancy and beyond and loved her. It had been 4 years since I had a pap and when I called I was told I’d be considered a new patient and that she wasn’t taking in new patients. The only one available was Dr. Reine. The name didn’t click in my head until a couple of days later. During my first pregnancy in 2006, I’d seen Dr. Reine for one of my weekly visits. I can’t remember the details of the visit but I remember feeling terrible after seeing her. Just a cold, sterile, uncaring bedside manner. When I was admitted for delivery, she was on call and I remember crying because I didn’t want her to be the one there during a very special time in our lives. She kept coming in to check on me and driving one of the checks she just kept her hand inside me saying how amazingly close her head was but yet I wasn’t dilated enough. Very awkward. Luckily her shift ended and my own OB delivered my daughter. Fast forward to my visit in summer 2021. I figured 15 years… was long enough and maybe she’s changed. Covid pandemic, stress, depression, worry. I’d had a procedure to lift my urethra and now have rectal prolapse and my bladder is also prolapsed. I had many questions and worries and also big menopausal symptoms I wanted to discuss. She came Into the room and we chatted and I gave info. I felt pretty good. Good until she asked me if I’d gotten the flu shot yet to which I answered no. Then she offered it to me and I said I didn’t want to get it today and immediately her body stiffened and her body language and voice tone changed with me. She berated me and told me it’s my responsibility to get it and to care for others and on and on. I said im not anti vaccine I just don’t want to get it today because I traveling locally and didnt want side effects. Immediately she interrupted me and said “the mere fact you declined it means you are anti”. I wanted to cry right there. All of this before she examined my body. And the exam was rushed, stressful and terrible. We discussed none of my issues I needed to and I almost felt violated in a way. She told me i would receive a call if anything was abnormal and would receive a letter in the mail as usual with normal results. I was in tears on my way home. I never received a letter in the mail. I never called the office to inquire about my results. I think I may write the office about this experience. It took me several months to even think of writing this review. I will never recommend her or see her again. Now I need to find a new OB and there aren’t many taking new patients.

I have been a patient for 18 years. She is the most caring, thorough, comforting, and understanding doctor. My trust level with her is like none other. I refer many friends to her!

Today I had called my regular gynecologist she had been on maternity leave so was concerned of a few issues I had . I was not feeling good. She was only addressing one problem and was not interested because I was not her patient. No exam only to one area No gloves and no exaggeration 5 times reminded me I cancelled my last appointment. Mind you not feeling well as if I didnt feel well as it was she stated " no papsmere is needed when you have a hysterectomy. She sent me on my way with a prescription she hasn't call in as if yet and referred me to the Breast clinic. Then I went to the front desk it says she treated me for two things ...only one. And says she took my blood pressure she did not. If you looking for a professional caring one on one doctor stay away from this one. My other issue she did not want to be bothered with so let's hope nothing happens. 18 years ..18 more needed.

Went once and have no intention of returning. Agree with majority of reviews I’ve seen, just wished I saw them before I saw her.

Hated the way she talked to my wife. This is for our second baby , and since we moved to Shrewsbury from Waltham, we wanted some one local. I don't know how my wife got her info, but man she is rude, no compassion, carefree person, and above all came late and talked as if we were late. Horrible and yes we changed our doc.

i felt belittled, rushed, unimportant... i have gone to see dr. Reine, for the first time, with some important questions about menopause, she did not answer any questions, nor help, she stares at the computer screen, totally ignoring you, and snaps. I was at some point afraid to ask or answer a question, which she interrupts and does not let you finish. Very poor listener, super cold, opinionated... I wanted to leave in the middle of our appointment. Will never go back... Never had such a bad doctors visit!

Do you like to be belittled, brushed off, and hurried by your ob/gyn? Then Dr. Reine is perfect for you! She'll minimize all concerns about your health and the excruciating pain you're in! She'll tell you that all of the extra fat you're carrying is causing your menstrual problems (but your're not obese)! She'll question why you even came into the office with a great quote like "What did you expect me to do for you?"! She'll withhold the treatment you want "because only 80% patients get relief from it" causing you to continue to suffer! If you want to leave the doctor's office in tears and pain, then the condescending Dr. Reine is your gal!

I've been seeing Dr. Reine for 13 years. I've always found to her to be very kind and easy to talk to. I'm surprised reading some of the comments here. I definitely trust her and feel that she does care about me as a patient. She's always listened to my concerns. I'd rather see her than my PCP any day. I think this office is very busy, and there have been a few times that I've waited quite a bit. I don't believe that is Dr. Reine's fault. I think the office staff try to squeeze people in to accommodate patients, and it leaves the doctors to rush or fall behind at times. I've experienced this when I had to reschedule an appointment, and I heard a secretary say she was scheduling me for a time she wasn't supposed to. I think they also save a lot of time slots for pregnant patients. When I was pregnant, I felt like it was much easier getting appointments to accommodate my schedule and getting in and out the office without too much waiting.

I agree with certain of these reviews. I just left my second visit with Dr. Reine and found her abrasive. More confused now about the original reason I went to see her.
