Dr. Gahear Frederick Hamlor, MD

First a medication was called in for me that was going to cost 500 a month for treatment. When I explained that I could not afford this, Efexor was called in. I investigated that this was an antidepressant that is used to treat a part of my disease that some people have, but I do not. There are 25 recommended medications for my disease and not one of those was chosen, but instead something that I do not need that could have severe adverse affects for someone without symptoms. Scary that he is actually allowed to still practice.

Dr. Hamlor is the physican at Berry Hill Nursing Home. This man may have a doctor's degree but he does not have a clue. He really is just collecting so many checks from this facility but not giving the proper care. Family being told that this is not a doctor's office or not a hopital by the administrator and doctor telling you that he only see's the patient when it is deemed or necessary to do so, however he goes to the nursing home supposely once every tuesday of each week. He does not make decisions on treatment of a patient he relies on the nurses assumption. He has said ask the nurse they know better than he. Basically then why do I have a doctor on the parole - Just keep the nurses. Pay check for him. This mess has got to stop.
