Dr. Gail Whitman

Bedside manner has a lot to be desired. Seemed to be in quite a rush to get to next patient. Was vague in answering questions, also, told biopsy results would be back in several days. After weeks of back and forth conversation, finally got the results a day short of one month. No recommendation from me!!!!

WHEN SHE WALKED INTO THE ROOM SHE GOT 4 INCHES FROM MY FACE, AND STARRED AT ME ,VERY ODD.SHE NEVER SMILED ,SHE ABRUPTLEY ASKED ME WHY I WAS THERE I GAVE HER MY SKIN CONCER, AND SHE SAID NO PREVENTVENTIVE MEASURES. I MENTIONED ABOUT RESTYYLANE,SHE SAID IT WOULD HAVE VERY LITTLE IMPROVEMENT. SHE SAID I HAVE NO CHEEK BONES AND WOULD NEED PLASTIC SURGERY THE COST $10,000. SHE THEN GAVE ME TWO BROCHURES ABOUT A SEMINAR IN STAMFORD ,ABOUT PLASTIC SURGERY,AND SHE SAID THEY WILL HAVE COCKTAILS AND APPETIZERS. SO WHAT. MY 50.00 CO PAY WAS PROBABLY NOTHING TO HER SHE 'ONLY CONCERNED ABOUT $$$$. THE NEXT DAY I WENT TO ANOTHER DR AND HAD FILLERS IT WAS A 70% IMPROVEMENT!!. ON A SCALE OF 1 TO 10 HER BEDSIDE MANNER IS ZERO. I AM GOING TO REPORT HER TO AMA. IM SURE AS FAR AS HER OFFICE GOES IT WILL FALL ON DEAF EARS. AND SHE PROBABLY IS ABRUPT WITH HER STAFF. I DID MENTION IT TO HER RECEPTIONIST. THERE WAS A NURSE AND PA IN THE ROOM ALSO ,AT ONE POINT WHEN THE dr WAS ABRUPT I LOOKED AT PA AND SHE… HAD SIMILAR SHOCK. HER WEBSITE SAYS 38YRS EXPERIENCE BUT SHE TOLD ME SHES 55

Dr. Whitman located a serious melanoma on my left arm. She immediately set up an appointment for surgery. She saved my life. Is there anything else I can say? PS She doesn't walk on water, but she is my idol.

I have been a patient of Dr. Whitman's for the past few years and have always found her to be prompt, courteous and extremely knowledgable . She is also very good at following up. I have recommended her to many friends and colleagues and will continue to be her patient.

As a new patient I was very pleased to see the doctor with in five minutes of my scheduled appointment.Dr. Whitman was very professional with a warm smile which put me at ease right away.I definitley intend to see her again.

This doctor was in such a rush to push me off to another patient. Every question I asked was a short 1 to 3 word answer. She barely looked at me, just kept writing prescriptions. She handed me 7 prescriptions! Did not solve any of my concerns. Her favorite quotes were: "it's normal" That happens" "you need to take this". I waited only 10 minutes to see the doctor but was out of there in less than 10 minutes. What a croc of a doctor. She could care less for her patients. Not professional at all. I do not recomend this doctor, go to someone else.

Waited an hour to see her for literally 1 min. and didn't even check problem

Its true , she is in and out, all about business, she did her thing and was not friendly. I will not go back.

Dr Whitman is a very caring doctor who takes the time to explain what her answers to your questions. She does seem a little rushed sometimes but will explain anything that concerns you. Busy office
