Very thorough and did a great job piecing back together a complicated compound fracture (and follow-up hardware removal). He is determined to get things back to “normal” as much as possible.

Came in and was touching me but never washed his hands. When I said something to him he lsnickered and ignored me. I found that very concerning given all the infections that can occu and I am immune compromised. Apparently infection control is not a priority here!

My husband and I both had acl surgery by Dr. Kamath. We both could not be more pleased with the outcomes. He is easy to talk to and explains all your options well. Follow up care was also awesome. I definitely reccommend.

Dr. Kmath replaced my right shoulder at UNC-CH in 2014. He did such an excellent job that when I had to have my left shoulder replaced I went to him in Nov. 2018. All went great at UNC-Hillsborough. I fully trust him and highly recommend him to anyone needing a superior shoulder surgeon.

First time meeting him, welcomed us, explained everything to us about my husband 2 tears. Friendly staff. Feel very comfortable about him doing his knee surgery.

He is physically there but his attention is somewhere else. He was rude, dismissive of my concerns, and had a diagnosis before he even talked to me. Wasn’t worth the long drive from Greensboro.

Excruitating pain for 2 years in muscles of legs. Pleaded for help. Refused to listen, had no interest in talking to me, unable to explain what the problem might be. I asked for a 2nd opinion & was called "mean" then sent away in tears with no answers.

I tried to tell him over and over that I could not get steroids because I am a diabetic and the last time they did that I ended up in the hospital. He did not care about that and still ordered the steroid injection. He did not care about what was going to happen to me. He just doesn't care at all!

My son had been to 4 surgeons to correct an orthopedic issue which had become very painful and debilitating. Dr Kamath reformed a miracle! My son is on the way to a full recovery

Sometimes he's actually good, but often.....well his mind is elsewhere and he is functioning on his assumptions and myths. You may pay the consequences. Do you like playing Russian Roulette? Then this is the guy for you! Read his reviews on UNC healthcare. Same thing! He is burnt to a crisp and if you get him when he is tired or distracted or frustrated,, you will pay the price!
