Dr. Garrick D. Brown, MD

I had a very positive experience at this facility! I clearly did not have the same impression of Dr. Brown as many on here! The staff was very professional and caring - the procedure itself was successful and I was taken care of extremely well. Follow up was incredibly efficient, and the outcome was better than expected! Highly recommend!

He is terrible! His staff tried to accommodate for him, but his bedside manner, attitude and approach to me as a human was terrible. When I expressed that I needed to be asleep due to the anxiety level, he had no compassion and even yelled at me. I walked out of the procedure. His approach to patients in a rather embarrassing procedure is absolutely atrocious! If you want to be treated like a human being rather than a body on the table, go somewhere else.

He did a terrible job. I went in for a colonoscopy and Dr. Garrick Brown treated me, but if I knew what was going to happen to me I would have definitely not went. During the colonoscopy he punctured my colon without know it. And after the surgery you are supposed to go to a recovery room, but he just told me to go home not following what is supposed to be done. Later that night I had huge stomach pains and went to the doctors the next day. And they told me I had a punctured colon. So I would not recommend him as a doctor. I would give him a 0 out of 5 if I could. And that injury cost me more then half a year of pain.

Dr. Brown listens to your input and is willing to try new approaches. Friendly but professional with good sense of humor.

My EGD went very well. Dr G Brown and his whole staff was very professional and treated me very good. I have to highly recommend them.

The directions for the preparation prior to the colonoscopy were very specific and easy to follow. I felt Dr. Brown and his staff were very professional and friendly. This procedure with Dr. Brown was so much better than my previous colonoscopy with another physician. Based on my experience, I would be pleased to recommend Dr. Brown for someone needing a colonoscopy.

I was cancelled on twice by the Digestive Health Specialist of Tacoma and I missed one appointment and cancelled one after being told I need to eat breakfast. I asked for a Dr that had experience with adult males that have no appitite. Any way so I just received a letter telling me I've been fired from there place even though we both missed 2 appointments

I FOUND DR. BROWN TO BE ARROGANT, A POOR COMMUNICATOR/LISTENER, POOR BEDSIDE MANNER/NON-EMPATHETIC, DOES NOT SHARE HELPFUL INFO. ON ALTERNATIVE ASPECTS OF TREATMENT OPTIONS (IE; DIET, SUPPLEMENTS, WEBSITES, ETC.). HE DOES NOT APPEAR TO LIKE TO BE CHALLENGED OR QUESTIONED ABOUT INFO. HE DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE ABREAST ON STUDIES BEING DONE AT OTHER REPUTABLE UNIVERSITIES/CLINICS ETC. I WOULD GO ELSEWHERE WHEN CHOOSING A GI SPECIALIST.

This doctor has a rude and condescending manner which results in minimal trust establishment. Staff lacks courtesy, empathy and professionalism. I was scheduled for an endoscopy. Refused to conduct this with Anastasia with no driver despite me using a taxi. Though, he indicated he would conduct this procedure on me with NO Anastasia. No empathy or care exhibited. Taking my treatments to another doctor. Beware.

I found Dr Brown has a very poor bedside manner, he did not listen to me I was in and out of his office withib 5 minutes. I did not feel he cares, I am changing to another doctor.
