He literally saved my life. I was going thru a divorce. I found him to be honest and caring and he was really caring and smart and didn't pull any punches with bs. I would be grateful to find him and go to him again. Put I cant find him and I'm sure he is getting up in age.

After several days of hospital observation, Dr. Vickar took me off prescription amphetamines and the like. He told me, as I remember - that he found me a very likable man and that I was healthy, except that there was just "something." Decades later I found the "something." A very positive alternative healer (with just a master's in a health field) pushed me onward to get some x-rays. They showed serious physical damage from childhood battering abuse. Too bad that at about the same time such was happening, that the AMA had labeled correcting chiropractors as quacks. Too bad for me and a host of others that the best that modern medicine has to offer is a fine orthomolecular psychiatrist such as Dr. Vickar with his excellent education and pink cadillac from his father.

I have been a patient of this Doctor for 2 1/2 years. I thank God I actually got the courage to change Doctors and see someone who sincerely cares.I can only encourage people who suffer from a mental ilness to seek help from another provider. Dr. Vickar puts on a great game face, but underneath the facade is an extremely ugly man.

The most caring Physician ive met

Overall experience with Dr. Vickar is poor. I would never, never recomend this doctor for trearment of any serious illness. In my experience he would rather talk about himself and his accomplishments then spend time with his patient. Look at the hospital to which he has an affilliation.
