Dr. Gary H Miller

Useless as a boarhog. Avoid this practice like the plague or be disrespected at your peril.

What is there to say except that Dr. Miller is responsive, efficient and kind? I have been his patient for roughly 20 years. His staff is excellent, and you won't be mistaken in asking for his excellent care

Dr Miller has been our family physician since he purchased the practice shortly after he finished his medical training. He has been excellent for our family keeping my parents in the best of health given their age. They lived until their mid-90’s. A lot of credit for their long lives is the care they received from Dr Gary Miller.

Dr. Gary Miller is an exceptional doctor who has cared for three generations of our family. My parents lived into their mid-90’s because of his care. He has seen my husband and me through health issues through our senior years. He calls to check up on us. He is such a meticulous doctor, he has never failed us. We are completely indebted to him for his care and attention. Anyone who is a patient of Gary Miller should be thankful to have him in their lives as we are.

If you are looking to have an FAA med exam, avoid Dr. Miller. I visited Dr. Miller's office to complete a routine Third Class medical exam and will never return. Dr. Miller's staff was extremely professional and polite and, during the exam itself, Dr. Miller was laconic, but efficient. But after I had paid and received the paper print out of the medical certification, I noticed that the portion that had my name included what looked like text from another document. Needless to say, for the certificate to be legal, my name couldn't be spelled wrong and containing strange text. I went back into the office to ask if I could have this small misprint fixed and Dr. Miller, in an extremely rude tone, said he would do it after he saw his next patient. I thought this was a little strange given that I too was a paying patient, but I tried to be accommodating and asked how long he thought I might need to wait. He responded "however long it takes". Obviously, I was shocked. Again, Dr.… Miller's staff was extremely helpful, but that kind of treatment under any circumstances is completely unnecessary, and especially when it was his mistake to begin with. When the doctor makes a mistake the patient should not be expected to wait till it's convenient for the doctor to fix the error, let alone be treated like the patient is some kind of burden. For my next exam I would rather drive to VA or MD.

He is always impressively knowledgable and unfailingly pleasant. He follows up on my concerns, even on evenings and weekends. I have always been very impressed by the other experts to whom he has referred me. I am very fortunate to have been in his care for all these years.

Dr. Miller made the correct diagnosis and has been providing effective treatment for a pulmonary disease that is difficult to diagnose and to treat. He truly listens to patients, and is thorough and caring.

I was misdiagnosed with a neurological condition of the heart because Dr. Miller placed EKG leads incorrectly. I had the test re-done elsewhere and they stated (1) you can't make an RBBB diagnosis on a 4 lead EKG with only a 10 second strip, (2) the upper lead was placed incorrectly, leading to no detection of cardiac electrical activity on the right side. He never stated I had a problem, and I only discovered it when the FAA rejected my medical based on his faulty diagnosis. Re-evaluation elsewhere is costing me a fortune and will surely raise my health insurance rates. His office staff is rude and not helpful, they actually smiled when I confronted them with the problems I was having with their responsiveness. I needed the medical quickly and finally received it almost 3 weeks later.

It is such a shame that Dr. Gary Miller employs rude staff. His receptionist hung up on me and when I called back never apologized! Animals run the zoo!
