Dr. Gary J Collins, MD

Appt at 10:30, told to be here at 9:50, and it’s almost 11:30, haven’t seen anyone yet! Hope he has a good bedside manner since I don’t!

Dr. Collins scheduled my boyfriend who had several blocked arteries to have stents put in after finding them during an angiogram which he was very prompt to get him into after a stress test showed signs of possible blockage. This guy really knows what he is doing! He is compassionate, provides suggestions for lifestyle changes, relates to the patient and educates the patient.

When I first came to dr. Collins, I had a blockage and was really scared. He put stents in and put me on a regimen that obviously works! I have been under his care for over 6 years and am doing great. With each of my checkups he never hurries his time with me which is so unusual with most doctors. although he officially released me, I continue to see him annually because he makes me feel so proud of my progress, Awesome professional!!

I Switched to Dr Collins after being with a Well know cardio firm in LR...He has kept me going without heart surgery after my last one 16 yrs ago...beating the odds given to me by others and my heart surgeon...He is the very best in medicen adjustments with B.P. problems with my family and friends ...getting all on the right path to quality of living

I went to see Dr. Collins because I had several heart problems, He went to work on setting up surgery and I was so scared I was only 48 and didn't want to leave my family I wasn't ready to meet the Lord at that time. But the look in his face gave me peace in my heart, some of my family didn't like him they thought he was mean LOL I didn't see anything mean in him at all... I believe he was God sent to me, and I love him his staff and will tell the world he is great and he found a heart defect I have had for 48 yrs and I have seen many other Cardiologist and they never seen it or didn't care it was there one. So if you are looking for a Dr who will listen to you who will make you better and be so kind to you when your scared and above all else FIX you.. Please make an appointment you will not regret it. In my experience through two office visits, a cath and the insertion of two stents, I have found Dr. Collins easy to relate to and consider him a careful and caring listener. I have nothing but good things to say about him.

Dr. Collins is a very professional and caring doctor. I appreciate all that he has done for me, along with his staff.
