Dr. Gary Wayne Spangler, MD

Listens to patients and spends as much time as necessary to diagnose issues. Always shows care and concern.

Both my husband and I see Dr Spangler. He has always been able to diagnose the problem and properly identify the correct medication,etc. We both very much appreciate his expertise and caring manner. He takes as much time as necessary to make us feel we are being heard and to understand our problems. Not too many doctors do this anymore.

Saved my life a few times. Been my Dr since 2006 and still is.

Dr Spangler has helped my husband and I through many difficult illnesses and issues. He is the family doctor of our choice and have great confidence in him.

Dr. Spangler communication has been great concerning my mothers condition on what we should do and expect. I wasn't expecting how involved he would be in my mothers care but hes been there for her every step of the way.

Dr spangler mis handled the care of my father. He was running a 101 fever and it was dismissed as un important. 2days later we find that my father has pneumonia and is septic.

I followed one of the Docs from her clinic with another company to Dr. Spangler's clinic, and have since left a doctor I've been seeing for years because she moved there. The office staff are rude. It's nearly impossible to get anyone to answer the phone, to make referrals they say they are going to make, to return phone calls, to give lab results. When I am in the office, I get less than five minutes with the doctor, which isn't nearly enough time to talk about anything. It's disappointing that it's this way, because Dr. Spangler was my doctor when I was in the hospital, and he's the one who told me to pick a doctor not based on how close they are to me, but rather, on how good they treat me--and then he goes and has an office environment that treats patients poorly. I hate having to leave my long-time doctor, but she is just not allowed to be a doctor any longer. She now seems to work only to churn out profit for a corporate medical office. That makes me sad. Patient care suffers.

Dr. Spangler took over the care of my 90 y/o mother a few months before she died. His knowledge of her medical condition was excellent, as well as the referrals she needed for supplies, etc. It was comforting to our large family that Dr. Spangler was overseeing her care, and that she received the best possilbe services available. His office staff was going through a transition when we first started with him, however, within a very short timespan, his staff was working smoothly in meeting our needs. I WOULD recommend Dr. Spangler to anyone who needs home-bound medical assisitance.

The doctor is very unprofessional and rude all the way from his apprerance to the quality of care,so is his staff, but then again everytime i call there is new staff members i assume its because of the way he talks to people.My father went months without getting his supplies and the company actually said they would stop supplying my father because they couldnt get what they needed from the office staff then when I called to try and move it along the girls in the office were cluelees and the gentleman that was suppose to be running the office could provide no answers as well, so again he went without his supplies. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone and If a doctor kept his license based on patient care THis doctor would no longer be able to pratice medicine.

I would not reccomend this clinic to anyone. Unfortunately, patients have such limited choice for treatment due lack of other treatment centers. Office managerial staff is rude and there is poor comunication,high turnover and poor morale amongst existing staff.
