Dr. Geoffrey V Drew

Disappointed in my visit regarding weight management, started me on super aggressive diet with no long term plans or goals, switched medications that increased weight gain. Had me return for frequent visits, too frequent to show results. Felt like I was being milked for my insurance. Rude staff. Annual physical exam consisted of listening to my heart rhythm, never checked for serious issues. Was unhappy with my previous docot, but will return to him instead of returning to Weight First office again.

Dr. Drew, is a friendly, kind, caring and compassionate person. He takes an interest in me and spends time helping me to feel better about myself. There aren't many doctors out there like Dr. Drew, he is one of a kind.

Husband was told he had a condition because he was fat. Although he had seen previous specialty dr and had gone through numerous tests to obtain diagnosis for that condition and at time of diagnosis was in military so was not obese at all.Office couldn't get insurance straight before appoitments and led to great frustration upon both visits. To follow that I arrived 5 min early and still waited 25 minutes after scheduled time before I finally decided to be done with that office. Basically we are back to square one of trying to find a doctor and still not knowing how our health really is. Waste of time and money.

I've been seeing Dr. Drew for the last 7 years. He listens extremely well and makes sure that I understand every aspect of my condition and care. He has an integrity of character and intellect that allows him to partner equally well with his patients and other medical specialists. I had a relatively rare condition that he quickly recognized the possibility of and made the right referral.

My daughter went to see Dr. Drew with intestinal problems, Dr.Drew told her that the reason for her pain was that she was being punished by God and that she must have had an affair on her husband or she must be an unfit mother. She called me after her appt. and told me what had happened, I as well as my son-in-law called Dr. Drew to express our anger for making judgement on my daughter. Dr. Drew was not apologetic what so ever, I ended up hanging up on him. My daughter made a same day appt. with another doctor in the area and was diagnosed with a severe case of the intestional flu. I currently work in a Dr's. office and a nurse that used to work for Dr. Drew claims that she stopped working for him because he would say similar statements to other patients that she did not agree with. Dr. Drew is a medical doctor and not God, not sure who he thinks he is to being making such accusations. My daughter has been happily married for fifteen years and a wonderful mother of four beautiful… children.
