'Been a patient of Dr. Ambrosio's for over a decade and always thought well of him. However, today he "fired" me! He angrily accused me of making a bad report to my insurer about him, which I think evolved from a visiting nurse's notes, not made by me. In fact, given the timeline, I was about three weeks post op from spinal fusion surgery, and being seventy-seven, I was barely able to hold a coherent conversation due to all the pain medication I was taking, so filing a complaint would have been impossible. Anyway, in his anger and haste to get rid of me, he refused to complete the follow-up visit. On July 28, 2025, I sought treatment for a foot infection as I am a Diabetic (I think it started as an insect bite), and he prescribed a regimen of ten days of penicillin. My foot is improved, but not healed, and now I must seek treatment elsewhere. Please understand there are several fine physicians at First Care's Lyndhurst Office, but sadly Dr. Ambrosio is no longer one of them."

My experience was terrible. He was rude and didn't listen or care. I like the facility but avoid it when he is on staff that day.

Possibly the worst doctor I have ever seen. Did not listen, did not respond appropriately, put down other doctors and practices, did not do basic diagnostics and did not look for an answer for my issue.

Courtesy of staff was poor. Time waiting was hours (I was the only patient there - every single person that was there before got entry before me). No consideration for sick child. (Also, had an infant). Staff acted inappropriately. NO CONSIDERATION FOR CHILDREN. NO IDEA HOW TO TREAT CHILDREN. Billed $195 for horrible consultation which lasted about 10 seconds. STAY AWAY!!!!!

Dr. Ambrosio is very knowledgeable and caring. He took the time to ask questions and get to the root of the problem.
