I come to Dr Belzer looking for help and compassion, but I only received discrepancies, physical and psychology torture. He gives different treatments to people of color. After many surgeries he did I'm still having my health problem he finally told me he doesn't know how to help me, he's also teacher at the UofM. I hope he doesn't teach his students racism.

My husband recently had colon cancer surgery. His care at Methodist was excellent, but even more so was Dr. Belzer. He was very encouraging from the initial visit. His experience and passion for what he does showed in the way he goes treating his patients. He came by EVERY day for six days, sometimes more than once. He kept pain very manageable and his followup care afterwards quite good too. My husband was well prepared and cared for throughout the whole process. So grateful!

I feel so fortunate to have found Dr. Belzer. He has got to be the kindest doctor I have ever met. My illness was long and complicated but he was right there the whole time. He is still following me even though everything is good now. I tell everyone I know that if they need a colorectal surgeon he is the only choice!!
