Dr. George Roger Dunkelberger, DO

This physician took care of my mother for years. In the last ten (10) years my family to include my spouse who practices medicine; requested more tests, to include a MRI of the Brain. We urged him to seek answers about my mother’s cognitive deteriorating. My husband faxed recommendations from us. This doctor ignored all of our recommendations due to the decline in my mother. We took my mother recently to another family practice physician. She bravely listened to our concerns. She immediately made an appointment to a neurologist. After a visit to a neuro and a MRI of the brain with Contrast, my mother has been diagnosed with Alzheimer; moderate to severe. Dr Dunkelberger is now blamed with, failure to diagnose in a time of ten precious years. Shame on You, Dr Dunkelberger.

Was a patient at his last practice and very sad to see him go. If I could follow him I would.I highly recommended him to all my friends and family. Office visits were very relaxed and he really cared and listened to all my concerns. He made going to the doctors something to not be dreaded because I knew I was in the best care. He was also very prompt and made sure I got refills on all my medications as soon as possible.

He was okay, pleasant and easy going. Not that great understanding my dnr status. By this I mean just treat immediate problems (palliatively) and not order tons of tests for things ill never get treated. Then I go for xray, get results so late it was ridiculous. Only to find out he's leaving the practice so I'm left with no physician. I think leaving patients unattended as such is neglectful. On the company's side as well as the doctor.

As good as any PCP I've ever had, and I've had a few. I think that he has every patient's best interest at heart.

He's been my doctor a a year or so and I can say he has been one of the best doctors I have had for a primary. He listens and cares about his patients. He is very accurate about what might find and directs me to the right specialist if needed. Feel very safe when I see him and I also take what ever he say's to heart because he really knows what he is doing.

I am very happy with Dr. D as my primary care physician. He is thourough, very nice, gentle and caring. I feel as if I am in the best of hands anytime I am in his office. His staff is great also. He spent alot of time with me and had good medical advice.
