Dr. Korones administered 3 of 3 of my epidurals. One of which was during a very high risk and harmful delivery. He was not only patient, kind, calming, but he was also knowledgeable in my positioning, my contractions and breathing through the process. He continued to discuss any potential risks involved and made sure I was aware of the risks and benefits. His bedside manners were excellent and he was very well versed and clearly experienced. In fact, with my first delivery, he happened to be who the IV team called after FOUR nurses could not find my vein for my initial IV. He is who my husband and I coined the "one stick wonder" as he was able to insert the IV without a question, and with one try, after my entire left arm was bruised and vein blown. I would, wholeheartedly and without hesitation, recommend Dr. Korones to be someone that you request for your anesthesia needs.

I have had over 5 surgeries with Dr. Korones and he is the most competent anesthesiologist I have ever had. He listens, is compassionate , and very good at what he does. Its obvious that he cares about his patients. I never experience nausea when he does my anesthesia and I request him whenever my surgery is at his hospital.
