Dr Miz is the very best !!!!

Just received? a second fusion to my back by Dr Miz. He did the first one in 2002, but the disc above went bad along with other problems and I needed surgery again. No one I trust more. Was able to "piggy back" fusion meaning the old hardware did not have to come out, and resolve decompression and other problems.

Fantastic Dr. to help you with your spinal/back issues. Dr. diagnosed me quickly, told me exactly what needed to me done to fix my herniated disc and sciatica and I ultimately had a spinal fusion and today, 5 years later, my back is virtually pain free and I dont feel like I ever suffered an injury at all. I always felt confident and comfortable with him.

I saw Dr. Miz multiple times ove a two year period for back pain. He recommended extensive surgery. I opted for therapy and epidural injections. He was not very keen on alternatives to surgery so I opted for two other opinions before deciding. Both of the other doctors I saw disagreed with his diagnosis and thought His approach was too aggressive for my condition. I decided to seek care elsewhere.

Went to see Dr. Miz for a consult, hoping he would recommend surgery and all my back pain would be gone. He took the time to review my chart, ask questions, test my reflexes, etc. He spent time with me and explained what could be causing the pain. He recommended I see a specialist to find out EXACTLY what was causing my pain before he would agree to surgery. I want my back pain gone, but I appreciated his candor and professionalism. I definitely recommend this guy.
