I cannot say enough about my experience with Dr. Sheng and his team. After being bounced from specialist to specialist for over 2 ½ years, I found myself overwhelmed, in chronic pain, and nearly scheduled for a surgery that my instincts told me wasn’t right. From the moment I called the office, I was met with compassion and professionalism. Samra, who first answered my call, went above and beyond to ensure I was able to see Dr. Sheng himself, and I am forever grateful she did. When one hospital tells you you’re not a candidate for surgery, and another insists weeks later that it’s your “only option,” the confusion and emotional toll are immense. What I found in Dr. Sheng was the complete opposite of what I had experienced before: he listened—truly listened—to my symptoms, took the time to carefully evaluate my history, and explained everything in a way that was thorough, educational, and compassionate. Instead of being rushed or dismissed, I left his office in tears—tears of relief,… gratitude, and yes, some anger at the thought that I had nearly undergone an unnecessary surgery that would have made things worse. After countless tests, labs, and discouraging encounters with doctors who brushed me aside, it feels like a heavy weight has been lifted. His staff, especially Samra, matched that same level of compassion and dedication every step of the way. Finding Dr. Sheng has truly been life-changing. He performed the surgery and saved my life. He is always available to answer any questions and stayed in regular contact with me during my immediate post operative period.
