Dr. Negvesky has cared for my husband and me for more than 20 years. He is kind, patient, and extremely knowledgeable.He explains results of tests carefully and takes time to answer questions. Dr. Negvesky was the cataract surgeon for both of us, with excellent results. His gentle, calm manner instill confidence. We are so grateful for his help over the years.

Just recently had cataract eye surgery done at Pocono Eye Associates. What a pleasant and painless experience with staff and the doctor there. Dr Gerald Negvesky made me feel very comfortable and at ease. He is knowledgeable, patient and explained every facet of the surgery and what to expect. He performed the surgery on both eyes, and I felt comforted throughout the whole process. Oh, what a great job he did. My vision went from walking around in a haze every day, not being able to see to in front of me until I’m up close, only being able to read the top line of an eye test chart (the very large letters) ?? to 20/20 vision in both eyes. What an experience! I could not believe it, For the first time in my life to be able to clearly see the bottom line of the eye chart (the smallest letters) Yes, I would recommend Dr. Negvesky and Pocono Eye Associates to all my family and friends. They are the BEST and #1 in my book. Thank you for restoring my vision!

I have been with Pocono Eye Associates, specifically Dr. Negvesky, since before 2008--exams, cataract surgeries, laser for specific conditions, all eye care. I am not sorry that I found him. He has treated me with kindness, respect, & humour. His knowledge & expertise in his field is apparent, yet he is humble. He goes the extra mile to make sure I understand all that is going on with me & why. Dr. Negvesky has not just taken care of my eyes, but he puts a smile on my face & lifts my spirit. His staff has always showed kindness, patience,been helpful to me. I am not worried about my care with Dr. Negvesky. I trust him & his staff. At a time when doctors are sought of forced to run patients through the examination rooms like a herd of cattle, Dr. Negvesky is the doctor everyone hopes for. He is most knowledgeable in the field of ophthalmology and is as kind and thoughtful as he is compassionate. Dr. Negvesky is thorough with explaining your specific situation, encourages you to ask questions, takes his time with you, while making sure that you know that you as an individual are of utmost importance to him. He leaves you with the impression that he will help you by any means necessary and his staff believes in him and speak highly of him as well. He is a straight shooter, diligent, knowledgeable, and results oriented. My experience with him and his staff is the best experience I have ever had with a doctor.
