Dr. Gerard Jude Girasole, MD

Dr. Giriasole 2013 ruined my life. Missed a level sent me to his chiropractor I said I was still in pain. Then saw him and he wanted to operate again while I was crying he told me get over it I missed a level. I trusted him and went as far as to set up but Dr. Mindtz told me not to have it. I had a very high chance to be paralyzed. Old school but a person told me to go for 2nd opinion. My surgery was set for a Monday. I went to see a Orthopedic Dr. In Greenwich CT. He backed up Dr. Mindtz. I canceled surgery. Because I was in a car accident I didn't even think to sue him. He is arrogant! I am in pain and treated with medications for pain which now trying to get off. I advise you to seek more opinions before you have spinal surgery. When you are in a accident and you grew up trusting Doctors Teachers it can't be done anymore. Seek a lot of options In pain forever.

HE DID AN AMAZING JOB WITH MY BACK SURGERY. HE MADE ME FEEL SO COMFORTABLE BEFORE SURGERY!! IM STILL RECOVERING BUT I MUST SAY ITS BEEN A SPEEDY ONE!!

Dr. Girasole is one of the best Doctors I’ve seen for my back. Dr. Girasole explained everything to me and was very nice. I would recommend Dr. Girasole to my friends and family.

I highly recommend Dr Girasole for Orthopaedic Surgery. When I first saw him I was in serious pain in my neck, upper back & arms. He was thorough in his exam & most important, listened to what I needed to say... I was told most likely I would need 2 surgeries. Front to back, & back to front. The first surgery was a great success & I did not need a second! I THANK Dr Girasole from the bottom of my heart for his EXPERT care & concern... I am pain free & have full range of motion!! I am grateful for Doctor & staff for their care & professionalism!!

This doctor couldn't care less about you. Completely rushed us out of the office and wouldn't even let us talk. He only cares about how many people he can see in a day so he gets paid. He HAS to pay people to write positive reviews. There is NO WAY I would send anyone I care about to this guy. Absolutely terrible!

Anyone that says anything good about this Doctor has to be related to him and I would question if he paid them or bought them a drink to do it....Girasole is simply and awful Dr. I had to mark one star otherwise I wouldn't be able to submit. He should get negative starts. Poor excuse for a Dr. ALL he is familiar with is MONEY.

He is the dark side of the medical profession. Thinks he is God's gift to the world when in fact he should not be allowed near an operating room! Any 5 star ratings are definitely planted by non - patients.

Terrible person, poor excuse for a doctor. This guy will interupt you mid sentence for no reason. This clown will do all he can to get you out of his office as soon as possible. Literally the conversation went like this: “tell me your symptoms”. “So about a month ago i started having neck pain...” “no, just tell me your symptoms now.” Like are you kidding me? You make 500k a year to treat a person in pain like this? Seriously, if you are questioning whether to use him. Please do not. Anyone is better than him.

Horrible bedside manner. Quick to diagnose without an X-ray or an MRI or pain medication. Diagnosis was wrong causing more pain. Please do not see this doctor. See a real back doctor.

I had an L5/S1 back fusion in 2002 and have never looked back or felt better. I made physical therapy / working-out, part of every day life. I owe my adult-fit-life to Gerisoli/Mintz & the habits their team fostered & encouraged. My wife & mother-in-law are also very satisfied with their respective neck fusions.
