Dr. Ghassan Kazmouz, MD

My boyfriend went to Eisenhower E.D. by ambulance with respiratory distress. He was admitted directly to ICU and placed on a ventilator and induced into a coma. He had pneumonia, he had a very low platelet count and very low hemoglobin. The morning after his admission Dr. G.Kazmouz did a consultation and ordered blood thinners. The blood thinners started a series of worsening conditions. The end result was a massive stoke he could not recover from. He was removed from the vintilator and died in my arms. He was 60 years old.

I became a patient, recently, and was impressed with Dr. Kazmouz genuine care and concern. He has an upbeat demeanor but listened to me seriously without interruption. His office was very pleasant and efficient and I came away with a feeling of having been cared for.

What a wonderful surprise - a doctor you can ask questions to and get answers that you can understand. He is caring, patient, and after visits to other cardiologists - he is #1 in my book

My heart rate dropped to 28-30 per minute so I called his office and was told, "I'm busy...call back after 1:30 pm." I gave up and went to the ER at DRMC where the ER doctor told me, "You have to be admitted." Dr Kazmouz came in and said, "We are going to call this an 'elective' pacemaker so just go home and wait for my office to call." That was the longest 10 days of my life!!! Only go to this "doctor" if you are suicidal!
