Dr. Gilbert Anthony Sita, MD

Picked this doctor because of all the raving reviews! Here's MY experience! Went for a visit to discuss my concerns over high cholesterol numbers, some recent palpitations, and a family history of heart issues. I waited almost an hour past my appointment time before he came in the room, which I was told about before hand. What I didn't expect was when I wanted to discuss my cholesterol concerns, he looked at my labs, chuckled, handed me a pen and told me to write down a website address. He then told me to go home, pull up this website, put in my numbers and call him in two days with what I found. Apparently, he didn't think my numbers were high enough or concerning enough to address it in his office. When I'm paying for a visit to see a doctor, I don't expect him to brush off or belittle my concerns. Maybe that are worrisome to HIM, but they are to ME!! Then, to make matters worse, I was sent for an echocardiogram and never got a call from him to discuss the results. Because… they were posted on the patient portal and he wrote that it was normal, I guess he didn't think it was necessary to call a patient to go over the results. As if I didn't have questions about it. Just another brush-off from this doctor! I honestly don't understand HOW this doctor gets so many raving reviews. He spends half of the visit doing all of the talking himself and when you ask him questions, he answers in a condescending manner and makes you feel like you're foolish for being concerned about things. Would NEVER return to this doctor!!

Best doctor I ever had in the world I wish every doctor would be like him He took care of my husband. I was calling him always for updates and Questions and he answered me politely. with a sense of humor. If only I can give him 100 stars I would do it. He deserves a gold medal! I have seen Dr. Sita from time to time over the past three years. I was blessed the day I first saw him, and that feeling hasn't changed! Dr. Sita will make you feel like the only patient he has. He will spend time with you asking questions and suggesting things. After following all of his suggestions I have to say...He was right and I feel fantastic! Thank you Dr. Sita!!

Saved my life ...........

I came to Dr. Sita after having a doctor that I felt I could not communicate with, which means I was not telling him all the information. I started looking up Cardiologist on this and other sites and reviewed 30 plus and called about 9 of them most were average. On was down right horrible funny he is in the same group as was my past Cardiologist. My past Cardiologist was not bad just he and I did not match. Dr. Sita was so very open in my first call and responsive spent time on the phone and he was not my doctor yet. I had my first appointment with him he was just so very good. He spent quite a bit of time with me and I knew I found a very special doctor and a very special person. Most good doctors act like the are the creator not Dr. Sita this is one of the most down to earth CARING doctors I have ever met. He really should have 8 stars but this system only allows 5. If you are looking for a very good caring doctor then this is the man. You may have to wait as he spends… time with all his patients so if you are the type that has a problem with that then you have your own issues. But this is one of best Cardiologist you will fine as far as I am concerned, and I did a LOT of checking and calling before I found him. I hope this has help others as it has helped me.

Dr. Sita is a truly caring person. He takes all the time needed to get to know his patients. You never feel hurried nor are your issues miminized. I would recommend him to anyone. Tops my list!

Dr. Sita is one of the special doctors who sincerely cares about others and shows it in his treatment of both the patient and the family.The office staff are professional in their manner, so long as you follow their process, otherwise they are inconvenienced and dismissive. Be sure you receive all the required follow up lab tests and appointments that Dr. Sita has orderedOne feels none of Dr. Sita's warmth or caring in the front office. Just under the surface presentation is an attitude of annoyance and an unwillingness to truly listen or engage. Dr. Sita is a wonderful doctor and gifted surgeon, however, this does not carry over to all of his staff.

Dr. Sita Is one of the best physicians I have ever know, in addition to being a very talented surgeon. He put three stents in my heart. I would recommend him to anyone who has heart issues.

Very enjoyable experience for dealing with a serious disease. Capable, calm, reassuring. Knowledgeable, and thorough. Felt complete confidence in Dr. Sita
