Dr Dapra should not be practicing emergency medicine. I have a lot of chronic medical conditions so I’ve been seen in the ER more times than I card to admit. I have never seen a doctor be as condescending, rude, belittling, and disrespectful as Dr Dapra was

I brought my baby in during a medical episode, and as a new mom, it was an incredibly stressful and emotional experience. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with how I was treated. The provider’s tone felt condescending and dismissive while explaining things to me. I did not mention that I have a medical background, but regardless of that, no parent should be spoken to in a way that feels belittling or disrespectful. In a moment when I was scared and seeking reassurance, I expected a higher level of empathy and compassion. Instead, I left feeling hurt and unsupported. Clear communication is important, but so is kindness especially when caring for a concerned parent and their child. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as bedside manner makes a significant difference in patient and family experiences.

I will post what she did to my husband when I calm down. My husband has been in and out of hospitals for two years. During this time we have met wonderful caring doctors treating his medical problems. Today we met the worst doctor of our lives. How my husband was treated was elder abuse. Renown is risking the lives of their patients by having this doctor represent them.

I was seen by Dr. Dapra in the ER at Northern NV hospital. This has got to be one of the most rude, impersonal doctors I have every encountered. While I realize she has a lot of stress working in the ER her attitude and bedside manner is seriously lacking. She treats you as if you are "ignorant" or if he is "above you". I am extremely in tune with my body and when trying to explain some things to her she was flat out condescending and rude. It is a shame that she treats people this way. You should never "assume" about someone Dr. Dapra before you know the entire story. I wonder how she would feel if she was very sick, scared and went to an ER and she or her family member is treated the way she treats people. She talks at you like you are stupid. I will be writing a letter to the hospital and letting them know of this experience. Terrible terrible doctor. Should find another profession where she does not interact with people.
