Dr. Giovinetza Hasbun, MD

I went to Dr. Hasbun for a general physical with one question about a potential health issue, based on a symptom that had been lasting several weeks and months. She pressured me multiple times to get a vaccine (not COVID) that I wanted to consider and think about before just saying yes. She did not ask me about my diet, exercise/activity, sleep patterns, or other basic health questions I would expect at a physical. I asked for a specific blood test and she questioned why I wanted it. I told her multiple times that I'd like to get it, and she finally agreed. After all my tests came back normal, I asked for further explanation for my symptom that I had come in for originally. She replied with a one word answer, no explanation, with no offer to discuss it further, no treatment options, and no direction for me to take. I will be finding a new doctor who will listen to me without my having to advocate so heavily for my own health.

I was notified 1 hour before my appointment that Dr. Hasbun only accepts patients from the entertainment industry, despite having made the appointment on the UCLA website a month before. No notification of this requirement was on the website, no checks, and the office says they only check with potential patients the day before or the day of the appointment to confirm their employment. What a waste of time when I could have been on the list to see another doctor. Don't get caught out like I was.

I went in with a severe allergic reaction and she totally dismissed my issue and assumed I was just stressed/anxious. She made me meditate rather than addressing my issue. Don't go see her!
