Dr. Glenn Lynwood Morgan, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Morgan for a little over 23 years. He is the only OB I trust! He delivered my 3 children, as well. He is very patient, kind and straightforward in regards to what needs to be done, if a situation arises. His office staff is spectacular as well!

Dr. Morgan made it seem like we were the ones that were wasting his time. He was very short with his answers , which made us have more questions. After we left, we called around for someone better.

While some people might consider him to be rude or dry Dr Morgan is a straight forward no beating around the bush type of Doctor and sometimes people need that. I was tired of the constant break through bleeding and pelvic pain. I've seen multiple doctors prior to finding Dr Morgan who wanted to force me into an invasive procedure to help my "problem". Before the mention of the word "surgery" Dr Morgan made every effort to listen to what measures had been taken by previous Dr's and also provided a PLAN for us to follow before deciding if there was in fact no other option. Needless to say after a change in Birth Control Pills and some patience, routine monitoring blood work for anemia and a follow up US we are now on the right path and hopefully I am on the mend. I understand that sometimes medicine that works for some may not work for others but it's nice to have a doctor that cares enough to try to fix the problem without resorting to surgery. I highly recommend Dr Morgan to anyone… who truly feels they need someone who is willing to get to the root of the problem!

Dr. Morgan is an very straight to the point kind of doctor, but on the flip side he is one of the most caring doctors around. I am now 7 months pregnant with my FIRST child and he makes me feel so secure and trust him with every decision about my pregnancy and delivery. My mom and 2 older sisters also go to him for over 9 yrs. HE'S GREEAATT!!

I liked my old gynecologist better. This doctor has no idea what it's like to have issues and thinks everything is hunky-dory. First appt I did I was nervous because it was a new doctor and one of the technicians must've ate Cheerios that someone had urinated in because she was very sour and rude. The room was ugly and had a very strange painting on the wall of a breast but picasso style. Things went ok. Had to return for a second appt for a biopsy, the technician this time was very nice and I like her a lot. She didn't stay for long and I got the same sour one again, she was a little nicer this time but still grumpy. The biopsy hurt like !@#$ and the doctor made it seem like a nice little summer stroll through the park. Let's face it dude, it freaking hurts and you need to tell it like it is, or would you like me to biopsy your testicles, and tell you it "doesn't hurt." He also gave me some medication for bacterial infection which worked for about two weeks. Then I had to go back for… the biopsy results, they apparently don't just tell you over the phone. Ok, so another hour drive back to the dr. THEN they expect you to pay another co-pay to TALK about the results for 10 minutes?! I didn't even have money! I had to ask my mom who, thank God, insisted to come with me to hear the terrrrrrrible news. $50 flushed down the drain to tell me I am ok and not going to die, and he doesn't want to do any procedures at this time! Great! But was it necessary for me to PAY to hear that?! I didn't even take my clothes off!!!! Then I asked for more medication for the bacterial infection becuase it was back and he told me I would have to make another appointment to do that. F this. Not going back, as usual....Another doctor out to get our money.

I wish I had used Dr. Morgan with my other pregnancies. I had a complicated pregnancy and Dr.Morgan made sure I was well taken care of. Thanks to him I delivered a healthy full term baby without any problems. He did my fourth c-section and even cut out my old scars so I have one straight line that you can hardly notice. His staff was also wonderful. I would recommend him to all my friends and family.

Overall, Dr. Morgan wasn't a bad doctor, infact he allowed me to stay an extra day in the hospital since my baby was in the NICU and he didnt want me to have to leave her. However, I did feel like I was forced into a c-section after I developed preeclampsia. Dr. Morgan referred me to a specialist and they both agreed that delivery at 37 weeks was what needed to be done. When I requested other means of giving birth I was pretty much told no and told my only option was a c-section. I didn't want a c-section and to this day do not understand why induction wasn't an option for me. Part of me wonders if it was a convenience thing for him?

I would never recommend Dr. Morgan to anyone. He was very rude and did not use lubrication when he did my pap smear. He was the first gynecologist I ever went to, but big mistake! The visit made me terrified to go to another gynecologist, but I know I need to, to stay healthy. I will never go back there again. He prescribed me yaz and it really messed my kidneys up and he told me to keep taking it, to just let my body get used to it. It was the worst pain I ever had in my life, I couldn't even bare to stand. So inconsiderate of feelings!

Dr. Glen Morgan delivered all three of my babies as well as proformed two separate surgeries on me also. He has wonderful bedside manners, I had horrible medical emergencies during two out of three of my pregnancies/ deliveries. He was wonderful, he called to check on me after my son was born while on vacation with his FAMILY might I add!! Because of my own personal conscious reasons I chose not accept blood, and that was no problem for him. He respected me as a person and a mother and for all of that I will always love him!
