Dr. Glenn B Rothman

I found the Dr. & staff unprepared for my appointment , nor willing to own their mistakes. After waiting for an extended time past my scheduled appointment time, I was brought into the examining room. After answering the questions to his assistant that I had previously answered both on line and on the same forms in the waiting room, I was informed that my referral, which they reviewed prior to calling me to schedule an appointment, was lacking records that my primary care physicians office proved via fax stamp had been received. Because this information was not “complete” due to their internal issues, I was instructed to leave the examination room and make room for other’s. l was frustrated and had hoped that the Dr. would at least meet me in regard to a future appointment. I was told that he does not speak to people with incomplete files. I called to inform his other office and no one chose to return my call. I thought other’s might benefit from being informed of my experience.

Arrogant, rude, did not even listen to why I was there. Gave me a 9 minute Covid vaccine lecture. Saw me for 1 minute and never even examined my ears when I was there for ear and jaw pain! Lectured my wife, too! Sent me away with no explanations and no follow up plan. Office staff was just as rude and dismissive with the exception of his kind nurse. Find another HNS!

I went to Dr. Rothman for a tonsillectomy and have chronic health issues so I have seen quite a few doctors, some of them absolutely horrible. That being said, my expectations weren’t too high.. But, wow, he went above and beyond. After the tonsillectomy surgery I had A LOT of issues with pain and his nurse was always available to speak with and he even spoke to me directly asking how he could help ??!!! He was so kind, took the time to answer all of my questions both before and after surgery, and even asked me to call and follow up with how I was doing after post op. I wish I could give more than 5 stars, he is seriously one of the best doctors I’ve ever seen. I’m so glad I was referred to him!

I had a total thyroid removal on Tuesday. Today is only Saturday and I am sitting here at my computer feeling good enough to do this. Thank you Dr. Rothman.

I am happy to reflect on this day. 10 years and 1 day ago Dr. Rothman performed a 3.5 hour surgery on my neck. The tumor that popped out of my parotid gland 6 weeks before had grown larger than an egg, which became entwined in many nerves that control facial muscles. I am certain that the 5 other doctors that recommended him to me and/or applauded his work afterward were correct in their sentiments. "Dr. Rothman did exceptionally fine work using meticulous care." His level of compassion and skill left me with every facial nerve intact and 100% cancer free after 10 years. Can't express my gratitude enough.

This doctor is not what he appears. I have spoken to two former patients in the past month that were misdiagnosed and treated with such disdain and arrogance. Please Please do your homework and get several opinions. Dr. Rothman is not competent for any cases with complexity of any kind. RN

Office Manager Tish and Doctor Glenn went above and beyond to get our urgent surgery scheduled. They both are respectful and caring.

Dr. Rothman is an amazing surgeon. I highly recommend him. I had aggressive cancer of the thyroid. It was a difficult surgery but Dr. Rothman did an exceptional job.

Do your due diligence and always, always obtain second opinions. Surgery on the neck is very specialized surgery, sometimes you need to look outside of Phoenix for this. Can't stress enough the importance of reviews and physician background. We did our homework and went with another surgeon based on our findings. I will leave it at that.
