This retired OBGYN is not a licensed cosmetic surgeon. He is playing in the field. I am a retired professional, with an education in medicine. I'm a former patient of Gordon Roget, I tried his services and left for someone better. Either people IGNORE their duty to ask questions of this NON-cosmetic surgeon licensed doctor or they don't care. Not caring is your right. But for those who CARE, the doctor is NOT in ... he is retired from OBGYN after only 19-years. He is practicing without malpractice insurance - ask, don't assume. Legal record shows he has no assets. County Records and licensing board backed this information up as I researched before going to him for liposuction. I chose a licensed cosmetic surgeon. Good for you if you think this doctor takes care of you ... as for me and my life, I take care of myself before I put my family and my own life at risk. Be wise, not cheap with your choices. Those who rate this doctor as anything but dangerous simply don't want to ask or… research the facts.

I have been using Dr.Roget for 14 years as well as all my family members . He has always been good to us and very helpful with our medical need .how someone can write things bad about this Dr. must be just a mad person .too say what he cant afford who are they to say what a person can afford or to make comments like that you should ashamed of yourself DR. Roget you are a great Dr. and my family and i and friend are glad to have. you as our Dr.

Why can a retired OBGYN be a Cosmetic Surgeon? Can a dentist be a hairdresser? No, even that is illegal by state licensing standards. I agree with the other patient's comments. No malpractice insurance and major surgeries are being performed? That is simply putting lives and patient finances at risk. A while back during a Botox appointment, I asked the doctor if he carries malpractice insurance because I doubted what I had read here. Dr. Roget told me he doesn't and tried to justify it! He doesn't have any assets according to public record, therefore even a court ruling could not get a patient their costs covered should anything go wrong. I've never gone back to Dr. Roget. I now see a superb specialist in the correct field (in Stockton). I feel much safer. I'm so glad I read some reviews before I have a tummy tuck ... by a Board Certified Cosmetic Surgeon. :-)
