Dr. Grace F Zlaket-Matta

I'm grateful for Dr. Matta, she is a professional who is friendly, gives the best care possible, understands and is helpful when you can't afford to do everything at once because of insurance issues. She and her staff are always pleasant and have executed my care in an excellent manner.

the doctors office had a very, very hard time liaising with the pharmacy and the insurance company in getting the right prescriptions filled. patient discussions w the office staff were not passed on to the doctor adding to the prescription/insurance confusion. i was without meds for a month while they sorted out all the insurance issues.

I've only seen Dr. Matta two or three times. I was quite happy with her professional demeanor and with the quality of the time spent with her. Her office staff are attentive and pleasant to work with, always ready with a smile.

Confident with tests she ordered. Felt good with what she had to tell me. Had several more appointments after so as not to miss any thing . Very pleasant personality and courteous and pleasant staff, . Efficient . And professional !

She is incredible. Open, positive, willing to listen, and work with you. Best results ever. Can't image any one better. Office staff is outstanding.

A doctor's staff is what first sets the tone of what your visit will be like. Dr. Matta's staff excels at rudeness. It 's more like a dysfunctional office. They take 2 hour lunch breaks and you do not get to speak to the dr on the phone. The dr also has limited office hours. You can wait forever to get test results and when you do get them and ask Dr Matta for an interpretation of the results or ask a question, you do not get a response. I wasted two years going to her. Do yourself a favor and find a knowledgeable full time Doctor that has a staff that welcomes you and a dr that follows up with you. There are many wonderful doctors out there. Why settle for less?

I love Dr. Matta. My previous adult endo was awful, and I love how she spends time with you, even though she has a lot of patients. Her pump tech, Laura, has helped me bring down my A1cs. Dr Matta is also very patient and thorough, and she always has a concern for my health and well being.

When test results come back Dr Matta does not contact the patient to review them. For months I was left in limbo trying to get a hold of Dr Matta to review the results. Office staff is not very courteous nor helpful. Dr Matta is hard to reach with having limited office hours and 2 hour lunch breaks. Many times when I would ask Dr Matta for an explanation of a test result I did not get an adequate response or any response. I did not feel that Dr Matta had my best interest at heart nor did I feel that she was knowledgeable in her field to my satisfaction.t With so many other highly trained and qualified doctors out their that have better bedside manners and communication skills and that have trained in the US and not a foreign school, stay with just just a mediocre doctor?

Save yourself the hassle and go see someone who will accurately diagnose you!

I waited three long months to get a new patient appointment because this doctor works very part time. The office gave no new patient appointment information on the referral procedure and said they would take care of it, which is something many specialist's offices' do as a courtesy. I called two weeks prior to confirm this and was told by the staff, "I Just started work today and I don't know." I called again and now was told that I was responsible for the referral. I immediately saw my PCP who ordered labs and faxed a referral and the most recent progress notes to them. Then, Dr. Matta's office called me to confirm the appointment and arrival time. The morning prior to the apointment I called to check on the directions and referral, only to learn that they could not find the referral. I called my PCP office who again confirmed it was faxed to Dr. Matta's office, and I offered to pick up a copy and bring it in with me to the appointment. I asked the office staff, Patty to see if… she could get it resent. Instead, she gave my appointment away to a patient on their cancellation list!!! Aren't I a patient??? Didn't I draw labs, get a referral, wait three months and get a referral??? If you want surprises and unprofessional treatment, this is the office to go to.
