Dr. Greg Robert Wheeler, MD

I had hope that the reviews and my own personal experiences with Dr.Wheeler wrong and that he would finally prove to be a decent humane being and fix his mistake,, unfortunately I was wrong, now I suffer in twice as much pain. I only hope these words stop anyone from being further disabled and traumatized by him.

Dr. wheeler operated on me in 2013, I was involved in a vehicle accident breaking all bones in my neck besides two. Dr. Wheeler took excellent care of me and preformed my surgery’s. He was a blessing to me. I will never forget him.

What a despicable human being Dr. Wheeler... shame on you. I wouldn't wish mom's pain on anyone but I hope that one day you are humbled with it. My mother came to you with spinal stenosis and bulging discs and you said that there was nothing wrong with her - mom said light-heartedly "you have to fix me" and you said it wasn't your problem and walked out on her. Could you possibly be any more insensitive? Mom sought out another doctor who now has her pain free and on the road to recovery!

He made me feel stupid and was very rude. I would never recommend him.

He talked me into an implanted morphine pain pump in 2006. I couldn't stay awake and a week after the surgery I was incontinent, which he marked up to old age. Over the next 5-6 years my teeth broke off, my hair fell out, my nails stopped growing. I developed cataracts and my feet and legs ballooned. The last year was the worst, my stomach painfully spasmed and I couldn't hold food down, lost almost 100 pounds. Sores all over my back and about 1 other symptoms. During those years I went from one doctor to another, till I finally found one who had seen it before. I was allergic to titanium and was told I would be dead in a few months if it wasn't taken out. Dr Wheeler never warned me of the possibility or risks, and acted like all my trouble had nothing to do with what he had done. I had to find another surgeon to take the thing out and by the end of the month I was almost back to normal. This guy is all about the money and I think he's dangerous.

Dr. Wheeler has operated on both my wrists for carpal tunnel syndrome with excellent relief. No more pain or numbness. I went back to work in two weeks. Very satisfied. His clinic staff is very nice and his nurse practitioner Ashley Giuliani is outstanding.

No after care instructions, no bedside manners.

Waited three weeks to get an "urgent" appointment only to be treated like I was stupid for being there. Did not discuss anything with me, did not examine me, stated because I didn't need surgery, he didn't plan on ever seeing me again.

Waited months to see a neuro surgeon and the appointment lasted 3 minutes tops. I've had severe pain in lower back and my legs going numb, he made me feel like it was a joke that I walked like a old man, he was very rude and short And I left there with out any understanding of what was wrong with me.

I waited 8.5-hours after my scheduled appointment time on one visit and 6.5-hours another occasion. I wasn't taking nor did I ask for pain pills, but was still drug tested as soon as I entered the office. He spent between 2 and 5 minutes with me at each appointment, and never examined me. He ordered MRIs on all regions of my back- two of which were unnecessary at a center he had a vested undue financial interest. Once he determined I wouldn't need expensive surgery he seemed to dismiss my pain and refuse to deal with me, but he still aimed to book and bill as many follow-up appointments as he desired. If you are aiming to recover do not see this arrogant doctor as the experience will only delay you in seeking better informed care.
